Lovely loaf of bread Jack! Great choices for your carries today!

Thanks a lot pal :)

Two for Thursday! Have a good one!

Exquisite Gary

I've got a Thursday Trio this morning. ;) Since I'm sheltered in I probably won't actually carry all three at once, but you probably knew that! :) I wouldn't want the added weight to accidently pull down my sweat shorts! :D I've got two from Great Eastern Cutlery's 2009 roster. First I've got a Northfield #73 Scout Trapper two blade with Burnt Orange Jigged Bone handles. Next up I've got a Tidioute #53 Furtaker Moose with Antique Green Jigged Bone handles. For the good looking trio member I've got a Jack Black SFO from 2017. It's a Guardians Lambsfoot with Buffalo Horn handles! :) Y'all stay safe and well out there! :)

That's a great photo Ron :)

Chased indoors by rolling rainstorms. No grass mowing today. What to do?

Daydrinking!! It's almost 5 o'clock on Thirsty Thursday. (This could go downhill fast. Already posted this in a wrong thread.)

LOL! :D Great pic Stuart :) I spent a good deal of yesterday evening in Belgium ;) :D

I thought there was a drop of water pressure in the house so even though I wasn't really up to it, I made a trip to the pump house to check out the well bladder. Everything checked out and after running the water again it looked ok. Jeese!!! Eye sight must be going wacky. Anyway, I took my Lambfoot beater with me in case I needed a reliable, sharp, knife. So, that makes it my carry knife for today.

I bet that was a mission Ed, I hope you fared better than that Lambsfoot! It certainly has some great character, like you my friend

Solid lockup with zero play in any direction. The official weight, per Böker, is 4.3 oz, while the official weight of the 110, per Buck's website, is 7.2 oz.

Here are a couple more teaser pictures. I think I got a good example of ironwood on this one.

Looks good

Wonderful photo Dan :)

Thank you, Jack! The rain is pretty typical over here, it just tends to dampen my evening plans on occasion. A fine trio you have with you today, that fixed blade is particularly interesting.

You need some overhead cover Dylan, or a poncho and a broad-brimmed hat! :D Thanks buddy, the fixed-blade is from Timberline. I used to spend about £3,000 a year with a UK retailer, and the misleading photos and inaccurate info on that knife was the last straw in terms of my dealings with them. It's a useful size, but was overpriced over here, and "Trophy Stag" it certainly ain't

Received a couple of user sodbusters today, which I bought from a generous porch member. I took one straight to the sander to have some fun. Here's what I got as a result:

Three fantastic pics Harvey! :)

Thank you Jack!!!
Your triple play is quite marvelous, slipping in a lovely Queen and a very cool fixed blade to go with your awesome HHB!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

An American jack and a Swiss scout today. :)

Many thanks my friend, that's an excellent pairing :)

I've been having trouble with my back this past week, and haven't been able to shave until today. So now I'm clean shaven again (apart from my side-burns) I'm going to 'swagger' around with my wee Punale like a saddle-sore Gaucho  Also carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and an old Christopher Johnson :) Have a good day folks, take care and stay safe

Good Friday, folks.
Today, I’m off to work with my oh so handy Kershaw FB, a new-to-me 111mm Vic Picnicker, and the very classy ‘19BF GEC.
Mrs Grave Fleschwund was just getting the mail when I came home from the farm for lunch. I saw her squeezing the envelope and detecting the shape of a pocket knife. I was in trouble briefly until I told her how little I’d paid. So she smiled and headed back up the driveway, having again asserted her dominance.
I love the 111mm handle, and being only two layers, it’s quite light and slim in the pocket.View attachment 1327789Here they pose with a healthy perennial, Yarrow.
In this pic, they’re posed with Sedum-Autumn Joy.View attachment 1327788Hope y’all have a great day~ get outside!

Thank you kindly, Jack.

I fell asleep in a chair with my long punal in the back of my belt, and woke up with a curved scabbard. Makes me wonder if it's 800 silver rather than nickel silver.

Oh no! Do you think it can be re-straightened? I've had my eye on one in an antiques shop, but it is overpriced - been sitting on the shelf for several years, owner hasn't even bothered to find out what it is o_O

Three nice choices for Friday Jack! Hope you are on the mend my friend! :)

Thanks a lot Ron :)

These two have become my favorite Friday duo. ;) Two very fine Ebony SFOs from my friend Charlie @waynorth. I hope y’all are staying safe and well Charlie! :)
