  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Day six of sticking with a Jackknife. Today's carry is not quite so vintage (1974) but it is very basic - Case 6214 1/2 Delrin Jackknife! OH

Their current Delrin is OK, but it sure would be great if it looked like that! Nice!:thumbsup:

Two outstanding knives :)
Thanks Jack! :)

Yes, Redmeadow makes a fine knife. A one-man shop doing small runs. His leatherwork is equally as nice. You'll find them in the makers subforum

Thanks Dwight! CC has provided us some beautiful knives! :) Another beautiful Sow my friend! Pork futures must be on the rise! :D

Oh no! Do you think it can be re-straightened? I've had my eye on one in an antiques shop, but it is overpriced - been sitting on the shelf for several years, owner hasn't even bothered to find out what it is o_O
It straightened out pretty well. As in Shane, "It was an easy chair, Joey".

It has a dent at the pointy end of the escutcheon, but that was there when I got it.

I'm not sure the handle matches the scabbard, and I'm sure the Inox "gaucha" blade is newer than the handle and scabbard, but I like the 7-inch blade and the lush floriform decoration. Sometime I'd like to find one with no tourist designs on the blade or the mounts.
And of course I want to find it cheap.

These two have become my favorite Friday duo. ;) Two very fine Ebony SFOs from my friend Charlie waynorth waynorth . I hope y’all are staying safe and well Charlie! :)
