Big" Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider work knife
Cool knife, GT

toted this trio of old Case 35 jacks, all from 1940-1964:
Very fine Case trio, Stuart.

Maiden Voyage, Joseph Rodgers and Sons. Seriously big work knife. Solid with non proud half stops. When fully opened the sound is loud. When you close it, well...be careful.

I love big no nonsense work knives, and that one is special!
And Mr Rodgers has a scary no nonsense look to him!

Many thanks my friend, that's an excellent pairing :)
Thank you very kindly Jack!!!
Your "swagger" description is hilarious and your carries are awesome; that old CJ is quite the classic with it's pinched bolster! I spent quite a bit of time in Belgium as a youngster, unfortunately far too young to partake in the finer delights.:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The clip blade trimmed a cigar to celebrate an MRI of my back today (fitting, I thought).
Three mighty fine Case jacks Stuart; hopefully the cigar took the edge off your MRI procedure (noisy contraptions!);):thumbsup:

Thank you very much, Harvey!!!

Another wonderful find to add to your amazing collection of Sheffields; Mr Rodgers approves!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Their current Delrin is OK, but it sure would be great if it looked like that! Nice!:thumbsup:
. Thank you (and I agree - Case’s original jigging on Delrin can make it hard to tell whether it is Delrin or bone. OH

I’m changing my knife for the day after getting this Ulster back from @glennbad

A biltong folder made by Jan Potgieter. The blade is beautifully hollow ground (helps the biltong curl away as you cut) and 2.45mm at thickest and mid-point of the blade is 0.91mm thick, great slicer.

Scales are from Rooibos bush (as in the tea) with dovetail bolsters and liners

My weekend carry no doubt my first Fallkniven TK3 sporting Cocobolo and oh my what a beautiful knife. Fit and finish is remarkable. First lock back I’ve ever owned that’s rock solid with no play in any direction and the sharpest traditional out of the box I’ve ever owned period!
This knife is knocking at the door of custom territory and Thank you @Jordan@DLT for this beautiful knife I will enjoy for years to come :)

Beautiful TK3. The cocobolo is very pleasing
I just got one in jigged bone last week and am totally smitten :)
I contacted Fallkniven for some background on these. They're designed by Fallkniven, but made in Japan by Moki. The three crowns symbol is Sweden's small coat of arms and goes back 1,000 years with origins related to the Three Wise Men in the Bible. Fallkniven is the only company in Sweden allowed to use this symbol on a product. They received the official permission to use this symbol because of the high quality and good design of the Three Crown (TK3) Series.

Like yours, mine is very well executed, very solid. The size is just about perfect and I like the "flat" profile. It's one of my finest lockbacks.
So cool to have another knife nut friend with one

Two generous gifts from my father-in-law.

Blue bone Copperhead from 2001 and Amber Copperlock from 2010.

in my mind, this pair is a fun couple from south Mississippi named Blue and Amber. He has a drinking problem and she’s been smoking a pack a day since the 90’s. They have a blues/rock band named the Headlocks that plays Weddings on the weekend.
