Nice, mild morning here and the wind is down; going to walk to the creek and fish a bit before making breakfast. Taking a well used Case 6207 with me (day seven of carrying Jack’s). OH

I’m enjoying your tribute to jacks!
I chose this day to pay tribute to GEC and its excellent work, in the hope that they will return as soon as possible to make the best knives for all of us.;)

Beautiful cutlery, Jose’ !

A biltong folder made by Jan Potgieter. The blade is beautifully hollow ground (helps the biltong curl away as you cut) and 2.45mm at thickest and mid-point of the blade is 0.91mm thick, great slicer.

Scales are from Rooibos bush (as in the tea) with dovetail bolsters and liners

Gorgeous!
Beautiful TK3. The cocobolo is very pleasing
I just got one in jigged bone last week and am totally smitten :)
I contacted Fallkniven for some background on these. They're designed by Fallkniven, but made in Japan by Moki. The three crowns symbol is Sweden's small coat of arms and goes back 1,000 years with origins related to the Three Wise Men in the Bible. Fallkniven is the only company in Sweden allowed to use this symbol on a product. They received the official permission to use this symbol because of the high quality and good design of the Three Crown (TK3) Series.

Like yours, mine is very well executed, very solid. The size is just about perfect and I like the "flat" profile. It's one of my finest lockbacks.
So cool to have another knife nut friend with one

I can see why you’re smitten!
Two generous gifts from my father-in-law.

Blue bone Copperhead from 2001 and Amber Copperlock from 2010.

in my mind, this pair is a fun couple from south Mississippi named Blue and Amber. He has a drinking problem and she’s been smoking a pack a day since the 90’s. They have a blues/rock band named the Headlocks that plays Weddings on the weekend.

And their redbone peanut son who they call Nut, but his friends call him Red, might make parole this year?
:D
Yeah, I love the jigging and wear on that. As well as the little bit I can see of the blades.
Now be a friend and shoot a photo with her opened up and share some details! ;)

I always ask my friends and family to refrain from buying me knives as gifts. Despite my warning, one of them did give me this Buck Trapper for my birthday last year. The poor fella thought all Buck knives were made in the USA. He did not realize that this model is an import. Having said that, I had to keep it, because it was a gift. I must also admit that it is a great little knife and very well made. I especially like
the patina that has developed on the bolsters and shield.

However, it is a shame that Buck, and a lot of other companies, cannot find ways to produce all of their goods in the United States!

Some call it Stagurday, I’m going with Schradurday.
View attachment 1328487 A 293Y that I carried every day from the ‘70s well into the ‘90s, I think.
And a 206 that had the ugliest delrin in my collection, which I dyed and need to try again.o_O
And today marks 39 years with Vickie, a truly good woman, and a true blessing to me:).

My weekend carry no doubt my first Fallkniven TK3 sporting Cocobolo and oh my what a beautiful knife. Fit and finish is remarkable. First lock back I’ve ever owned that’s rock solid with no play in any direction and the sharpest traditional out of the box I’ve ever owned period!
This knife is knocking at the door of custom territory and Thank you @Jordan@DLT for this beautiful knife I will enjoy for years to come :)

I've been looking at those for years. My "add to cart" finger is starting to twitch!

We're enjoying breakfast on our "Pandemic Perch" with my Pinched Peanut carry for the day looking on. Have a safe Saturday, everyone!

I had to work today. Many restaurants are open for carry-out or delivery. I stopped by a local BBQ restaurant to get some mesquite smoked brisket, sausage, and pork ribs. My wife made beans and potato salad. A very nice Friday night dinner. :)
Sounds like the perfect meal, Vince.:thumbsup:
