Beautiful TK3. The cocobolo is very pleasing
I just got one in jigged bone last week and am totally smitten :)
I contacted Fallkniven for some background on these. They're designed by Fallkniven, but made in Japan by Moki. The three crowns symbol is Sweden's small coat of arms and goes back 1,000 years with origins related to the Three Wise Men in the Bible. Fallkniven is the only company in Sweden allowed to use this symbol on a product. They received the official permission to use this symbol because of the high quality and good design of the Three Crown (TK3) Series.

Like yours, mine is very well executed, very solid. The size is just about perfect and I like the "flat" profile. It's one of my finest lockbacks.
So cool to have another knife nut friend with one

I really love your jigged bone and the color is gorgeous along with the jigging. You inspired me to look into a TK3 and getting one. So I thank you from one knife nut to another :)
I decided to put a Leather lanyard On mine and it’s the frosting on the cake. Here’s a a daytime shot with better lighting and after I put some wood conditioner on the Cocobolo.
I also like how natural and well this knife feels in hand.

I've been looking at those for years. My "add to cart" finger is starting to twitch!

We're enjoying breakfast on our "Pandemic Perch" with my Pinched Peanut carry for the day looking on. Have a safe Saturday, everyone!

I think you’d be very happy with one.
Especially enjoying such a beautiful breakfast and view ! :)

Blimey, I only posted yesterday, how did I end up so far behind?!

Happy Friday, Porch Pals :D

Have these Two Old TEWs Lambfoot in my pockets today . There biggest job so far was to cut open a Seed Packet .

Harry

Excellent pairings gents

It straightened out pretty well. As in Shane, "It was an easy chair, Joey".

It has a dent at the pointy end of the escutcheon, but that was there when I got it.

I'm not sure the handle matches the scabbard, and I'm sure the Inox "gaucha" blade is newer than the handle and scabbard, but I like the 7-inch blade and the lush floriform decoration. Sometime I'd like to find one with no tourist designs on the blade or the mounts.
And of course I want to find it cheap.

That's good to hear Jer :) The one I've seen has a carbon steel blade, seen a good deal of use from the look of it, I don't think it's a tourist piece, but I balk at paying the asked price, simply because I think it is too much :(

We are doing great, Ron!! I hope you and Pam are OK!! (How's Pam??)o_O
You guys are three hours ahead of us, so I am just getting around to browsing! It makes me feel even better knowing my productions get carried!!:)
Hang onto them!! I don't know that GEC is going to make many more - if any!!:(

I sure hope that's not the case Charlie! :(

A dark Black Friday.

Excellent photo Dave :)

On Old Friends Friday, I toted this trio of old Case 35 jacks, all from 1940-1964:

The clip blade trimmed a cigar to celebrate an MRI of my back today (fitting, I thought).

Maiden Voyage, Joseph Rodgers and Sons. Seriously big work knife. Solid with non proud half stops. When fully opened the sound is loud. When you close it, well...be careful.

Congratulations Harvey, what an incredible pair  :)

I love big no nonsense work knives, and that one is special!
And Mr Rodgers has a scary no nonsense look to him!

Yeah, nobody married that feller for his looks! :D ;)

Thank you very kindly Jack!!!
Your "swagger" description is hilarious and your carries are awesome; that old CJ is quite the classic with it's pinched bolster! I spent quite a bit of time in Belgium as a youngster, unfortunately far too young to partake in the finer delights.:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you very much JJ, I have travelled there many times (in real life! :D), mainly to Gent and Antwerp, where I have friends :)

Two burly stag covered German totes today. :)

Two beauties there my friend :)

View attachment 1328487 A 293Y that I carried every day from the ‘70s well into the ‘90s, I think.
And a 206 that had the ugliest delrin in my collection, which I dyed and need to try again.o_O
And today marks 39 years with Vickie, a truly good woman, and a true blessing to me:).
