Very good, been thinking about getting on with COPPER handles but they do seem overpriced.

We’ve got a day in the yard planned! I figure I’ll only need one knife today and this is it! :D

Stag Saturday, right? English and French. Barlow and Langres.
Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Nicely paired Vince

Thanks, Jack. :)
Nifty pair of stag knives for Thursday!:thumbsup::cool:

...

Thanks for the story behind your interest in ruler knives, Jack, and for the fine photo of one. :) I doubt if your cartoon "enabler" will get me hooked on fixed blades, despite his obvious personal appeal! :D

Thanks pal :)

Hartshead Barlow today.

Great pairing Dave! :D ;)

Got lawn work done. Hauled off a truck load of scrap and assorted debris to the local landfill. Swept and cleaned out our garage getting ready for some fresh paint tomorrow. Showered. Had a nice meal. Backside is dragging my tracks out. I forgot to put “We” in front of those sentences! ;) Now I’m setting here in my Lazy Boy with a nice hot cup of French Roast and two of my favorite Stag knives. I hope y’all have had as much fun as “We” did today! :D :)

Jack Black Jack Black -Thank you Jack. That Abbydale Jack is so nice.

Wow! Look at those prices! Thanks Harvey, happy to supply any info I can on R.F. Moseley, I know their old works well, having spent a year or so there as 'Jack Black Knives' in the early 90's. It was there that Harry Brearley made the first stainless steel knives in 1913.

Do you Capuchadou?

Christopher Johnson triple cap Lamb Foot and a triple chocolate biscotti. It was a crumby job, but someone had to do it.:D

Terrific photos Harvey :)

SOG was really at it's peak in the 90s!:thumbsup:

Definitely, thanks Jack!!!
Another very fine threesome today; I quite like the name of the Locomotive, too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes indeed JJ, it's a shame they went into decline :( I spent a lot more on that Seki-made knife than I'd spend on any of their products today. Thank you very much for the kind words, I've been on that train many times, as it used to run between Sheffield and London :)

I'm Keen on these two Kutters for today. :)

As well you should be JJ, simply superb :)

Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend in spite of everything, and that you have a relaxing and peaceful Sunday

Nice knives you have there but I really like the ivory handles! I don’t think I have seen that one before.

Jack the Bigun wasn’t called on for much yesterday. Opened a couple of packages, but it’s a comfort to know it was in my pocket! The coffee was a welcome relaxation and the two Stags just added to my enjoying the moment more! :) Two wonderful knives you’ve chosen for today! :)

Fine sunny day, no wind for a change. Planning a drive then a stroll plus entertaining later, time to give this one an airing. 73 liner lock from 08.
