I guess I'll mix it up a little for this week's (or longer) carry. :)

"Small" Knife: 3 5/8 inch closed Marbles MR278 "DEMO" knife.

"Medium" Knife: 4 3/16 inch/ 110mm. closed M1212 faux Bundeswehr GAK.

"Large" Knife: 4 1/2 inch closed (BTI) Old Timer 858OTB stockman.

Yes indeed JJ, it's a shame they went into decline :( I spent a lot more on that Seki-made knife than I'd spend on any of their products today. Thank you very much for the kind words, I've been on that train many times, as it used to run between Sheffield and London :)
SOG certainly was great when they manufactured in Seki, Japan; the major factor in their early high quality!
As well you should be JJ, simply superb :)

Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend in spite of everything, and that you have a relaxing and peaceful Sunday

What a splendid pair of cutters you have today; very engaging images of both, with the "Big'un" certainly living up to its name!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Like those Russlocks . Is there still an Air Force Radar on Mt. Tam ???

Harry

Harry, The Air Force pulled out a few decades ago with much of facility going to FAA. As technologies advanced it became obsolete and was abandoned with the property transferred to National Park Service. Almost everything was torn down a few years ago but still a bit of a mess where the facility was located. I remember you used to be able to see the two gigantic “gold balls” for miles.
I‘ve really been enjoying the Russlock...though I have nipped my thumb while fidgeting with the one handed opening more times than I’d like to admit.

Jack the Bigun wasn’t called on for much yesterday. Opened a couple of packages, but it’s a comfort to know it was in my pocket! The coffee was a welcome relaxation and the two Stags just added to my enjoying the moment more! :) Two wonderful knives you’ve chosen for today! :)

A good knife in the pocket is never wasted my friend ;)

I’m relaxing with these two today! Y’all have a blessed day and stay safe my friends! :)

- Stuart

A striking pair my friend :)

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Yeah...Those prices.:) You sure are “dressed to the nines” with that fine Ivory Lamb Foot. Thank you for the Moseley background.

Thanks Harvey, I'd planned to get a special FB out of the safe, but feared my back wouldn't make it! They're a company with an interesting history, worth exploring

I carried a custom made today: Made by a 10-year old girl. A daughter-in-law of a damn good knife maker I have the privilege to own some knives from, too.
Photo taken aside of the main barbecue venue I had to leave for a while to take a few breaths of fresh air. A venue fully compliant with the current government anti-SARS-CoV-2 restrictions. I'm stuffed all the same.
