What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I missed it. What I get for skimming.
But I'm so busy these days.

I HOPE it was in that thread Jer  Both single sticking and cugeling (with 2 cudgels) were once as popular at English fairs as boxing or cock-fighting, and their decline was much lamented

Happy Monday Everybody

A slip I made for both pen and knife

I took a little drive in the mountains

Well done John, I hope you had a great drive my friend :)

Thanks for the compliment Jack! I totally agree with you my friend! I feel naked without a knife in my pocket! Ever since I was a teenager I’ve had one in my pocket seven days a week! Three wonderful choices for your Monday my friend! :)

Same here Ron, kind of walk funny without one! :D

Nice cap, and it pairs well with your rustic Opinel :)

I have my "X" for outdoors work and fishing, etc. I have a two layer SAK Mod for moat everything else (and yes, my mod has scissors...it's based on the Compact) see below:

I think I may have had a role in naming the Compact

I always enjoy this thread but rarely post in it because I am so boring and rarely change out my knife.

moki blakiston's fish owl has been my 2020 carry and I really like it. A bit larger than my my typical small knife, it is so slim and light that I hardly notice it until I need it. Very capable. It’s my first lockback in 35+ years. It’s also the first stainless knife in a very long time. I am a big fan.

"Playing for a broken head"!
I'd like to see the sort of falchions that made up "a case of falchions". I guess I've never googled for a case of falchions. [Now I have. No joy.]

That looks great Gary. Glad you are liking that deal.
The small one worked out really well with the Halfrich and an LC Jr., Dave. I also snagged an extra small one that fits my Pinched Peanut, Baby Butterbean and my other little knives. Keeps things from banging around in my pockets and they are very well made.

That's a nice lookin knife there.
Thanks, Tim. They don't get much better then what Jerry Halfrich makes. As close to perfect as any knife I've owned.
