What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’ve got two picked for today. I’ve picked them because they are both Feel Good knives. The Arno Bernard Galago was a surprise gift from my good friend Harry Old Engineer Old Engineer . It has WartHog Tusk handles and N690 blade steel. The Ironwood and Damascus Lambsfoot is a limited SFO from my friend Jack Jack Black Jack Black . :)

I used the big one yesterday in the yard, mostly to cut twine to bundle brush. Otherwise, I started with the brown Kutmaster, but went to the double-shielded Boker USA because the Kutmaster seemed clunky in the pocket.
I started out today with the Case, thinking I'd continue the smaller theme. The Boker has as long a clip as the Case in a smaller package, and a longer main in the same length package as the old yellow Camillus. So, the Boker again, despite the malaesthetic double shield. Or maybe the 6344 (not pictured). 10:30 am, and I'm almost decided.

Chief Chief That’s a beautiful Wharncliffe you’ve got from Charlie there John! The photos are beautiful and a welcome sight too! It’s funny you should mention a haircut! Saturday before last I got my Wahl all oiled and cleaned so I could trim up my beard. I got Pam to help me. We started out on the beard with a #3 guard which is between 3/16” and a 1/4” on my small trimmer. She got the beard all finished and we decided to trim around the ears just a little. Suddenly I got a Wild Hair and told her just to buzz it all! She did and we both loved it. For over a week every time I looked in the mirror I would bust out laughing! I haven’t had a burr for somewhere close to 55 years! I think it may be my new normal! Stay safe! :)

Cool little sawcut Barlow, Jack.:thumbsup:

Thanks John :)

Thanks Jack! Harry is a dear friend! That’s a nice trio Jack! It’s been awhile since I’ve saw one of Barry’s #25 Barlow’s. A very attractive SFO. Have a great day my friend! :)

Good luck with your projects! Be safe always! :D

And an all-round good chap :) Thank you Ron, I'm surprised we don't see more of Barry's #25s

Hmm. When I actually posted the message, the pics showed up, so ignore this bracketed BS.
Edited to Subtract:
[I wonder why some of my non-photos are black and some are green? I'm going to tuck my laptop under my pillow and wish real hard and maybe by morning all the fotos will be fully fixed by the Forum film fairy! (Or have I possibly passed a picture-posting parameter?) A fitting end to a less-than-ideal day!]

Nice selection as always Gary !

A couple Robeson electricians from before WWII; a walnut civilian and a cocobolo soldier. :)

Sweet pair of TL-29's

Half/Stop Half/Stop Ron, thanks for the burr story! Reminded me of my first military haircut. Wore a burr until junior high, cool in the summer and ultra low maintenance. But then long hair became faddish, so had wavy, over the ears hair until going in the military. A few hours into basic my first military haircut stole my last bit of civilian individuality, hair. Over 42 years ago but still remember looking in the mirror at my new buzzcut ... wanting to cry but instead laughing my butt off, I looked so weird without hair!!! LOL Still have lots of hair, especially for an old guy, but soooo happy to get it cut. Off my ears, not high and tight but would pass inspection in the USAF. Clean shave too … wow I feel so much better. Have a great day!

I’m definitely not clean shaven but it’s short cut. Thanks John! I hope you have a good one too!
