What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Have a great weekend, everyone!
Snow and cold in Central N.Y. today. The trout fishing will have to wait.

I have a bunch of these early 70’s Case folders in various jack patterns and this one is my favorite. It has everything going for it, the right size for pocket carry, perfectly matched jigged bone covers, strong blade pull without being a nail ripper, half stop, nice snap on the W/T, and my favorite blade profile, clip. All with the right amount of patina and wear.

Also I’m new here and will soon get onboard with the black Friday, stag Saturday, etc.. themes.

Hi, my name is Jeff, and I’m a knifaholic.
Welcome, and watch out for those gators in heat.

Beautiful lil jack!

I don't think you're in danger of this crowd thinking 70's Case knives are boring ;)

Speaking of, 7 dot Texas Jack riding along today.

Thanks! We usually have the gators splash and swim away from us, but none the less we always stay aware and proceed with caution. The mind set here is every body of fresh and brackish water has alligators.

Good to know! Beautiful red covers on that one. I have a few bigger jacks I’ll be posting.

Seriously. I rate the 70's Case knives right up there with my GEC produced knives... Some of my absolute favorites.:thumbsup:

I agree whole heartedly and was actually going to make a similar statement in my original post. However I wasn’t sure if I’d be offensive in it.

I actually started my collection with newer Case limited runs and collectors club offerings. Once I got my hands on a 60’s, 70’s Case I was hooked! I’m a real sucker for half stops.

Since the lock down started my wife and I have played a lot of cards and assembled puzzles until we ran out of puzzles . We ordered a couple of 1000 piece and they look tough .

Have these 2 Northfield 38's in my pocket and as always they are carried in slips .

Harry

Gorgeous stag on your 38s, Harry. Have fun with those 1000 piece puzzles; I've heard anything over 500 is really difficult. Take a photo when you finish one. :):)

Superb photo Dean

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Sunny weather here, and I'm off for a walk shortly. Taking these with me, my Hartshead Barlow, Issard Violon, and the Special Forces edition of the Swedish Army Knife by Frost's of Mora (I might have to tie some orange paracord on that one!)

Welcome to the fourm! Your 10-dot small jack looks like a great knife. My favorite year of Case knives is 1970; I have a few of them and they are all special to me. (see my post below of my Case 1970 Barlow).
