What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

No doubt. Love a slanted bolster. Care to share what covers and shield you are requesting? I’ve admired the Dunlap stockman that SVTFreak SVTFreak has. Can’t wait to see how yours turns out!

Yeah and i haven’t posted here cause it’s about all I carry any more! Hate to post the same one over and over!

@JonMcD I’m looking at having this one ( it’s a 4 inch) done in a 3.5. Love the federal shield and if the boosters are slanted it will be past perfect!View attachment 1338051

I can’t wait to see it! I, too, thought long and hard about that one posted also. Great looking knife.

And Mr Jim is such a nice, humble man. Underrated knife maker also. I don’t mind supporting him one bit.

Fodderwing Fodderwing Dwight good to hear from you Amigo....hope all is well.
It's all good hombre mio. Thanks Jon.

I toted a tiny tot today, as I had not much to do (two doctor appointments filled my calendar - both turned out great). However, the diminutive, yet dynamic. Queen #42 opened letters, plus a heavy package delivered today. My son (who's building a modern sporting rifle in .223/ 5.56 x 45 mm for me) has gotten a wild idea that he needs to help me get my 1992 Trans Am convertible in tip-top shape. It could use a new ragtop, but otherwise, it's a 4 wheel cigar salon (small 305 motor, all original/tired parts). He has a one month old daughter, a full time job, two part time and is building a 1000+ rwhp Fox Mustang for the track. I see a half built Trans Am in my drive way in my future. Anywho, a cam arrived today. It's for a possible (?) LS series 3.5 L GM motor. God, help my back if it shows up soon.

The 42 is helping me prick my forearms to stay awake waiting for pages and posts to load on BF tonight. Multi-quotes are treacherous. I'll return when tides out.

The hair clippers came today, so my haircut is tomorrow... yikes. This was in my pocket today.

Not a bad looking knife we commissioned there, huh?
I have been cutting my own hair for at least 25 years. It’s kinda fun, but you have to know when to stop. If you occasionally screw it up, who cares? Just quit looking in the mirror for a few days.o_O
non-Alox SAK of the Week is a VPocket Pal (I have 3 of these glorious little pen knives; if I see 'em for a good price, I buy 'em ):

I’ve been doing that with electrician’s jacks/TL-29s for a few years. My analyst, therapist, shrink, wife, and lawyer all say I should get help.;)

You are a lucky man, Stuart. They say I’m too old for my mid life crisis.:(

Nice pairing JJ, I was thinking of carrying a toothpick myself today, but then I remembered it was Tuesday, so I randomly picked this Winchester Doctor's Knife to accompany my Ashley's Choice Lambsfoot :) I'm also carrying this Sheffield-made 'Katar' FB, which has some things in common with the 'Town Pattern' Whittle-Tang knives, but is an uncommon Sheffield style

Thank you very much, Jack!!! Two more excellent traveling pals for your lovely Ashley's Choice lamb; the BB Win Doctors knife is a beaut, but I really like that leaf shaped spear on your Sheffield 'Katar!':thumbsup::thumbsup:
I’ve got a Bigun Lambsfoot with Ironwood and my faithful ole 6347 SSP Case with REAL Pocket Worn Red Jig Bone handles. Thanks to Jack reminding me, I’ve randomly picked a Winchester Whittler to join the others! Y’all have a great day! :)

Nice Randy :)

Thank you Jack. Your Winchester is just what the Doctor ordered. Classic AC. Cool Kabar.

Many thanks Harvey :)

Wow! Special find my friend, I hope you still have a roof over your head! :D

Thanks a lot for the kind words JJ, I need to find a better sheath for the Katar (Sheffield FBs almost always come with rotten sheaths), but I am quite struck with it myself :)

Going with just one cocobolo covered cutter today with the number 43. :)

Superb solo choice my friend, both elegant and practical :)

Morning folks, I'm trating myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day today! :D With a side-order of Scout ;) :D
