I'd say you have your stag quota spoken for.:thumbsup:

I approve of the background.:thumbsup:

Great stag... Great knife. :cool::thumbsup:

I want GEC to make me that exact knife in a #15 size.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm really happy that someone took to the Stockyard so well, it's a fantastic pattern.:thumbsup:

Nanc and I along with our two boys said goodbye to our Babygirl today, aka Harley. She was 10 years young, she was also the runt of the litter and fought for everything she got. She was as sweet and kind as could be but you'd swear there was a Doberman in our house if you heard her bark:eek: she was fiercely protective. About ten days ago symptoms started to show, loss of appetite, tired and lethargic which is everything she wasn't. We doctored with the Vet over that time and simply put her immune system was shutting down. During the last ten days she never even uttered a simple cry. She was in the game until the very end. The hole in our hearts is offset with a lifetime of wonderful memories:thumbsup: She truly was our Babygirl:)

Among the many joys of having a dog in the family, there are, unfortunately, sad days. Remember the good times. All the best to you and yours.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Paul. It's always hard to lose a pet.

I am so very sorry for your family's loss my friend .

Harry

Paul, very sad to hear that. I had to put the family dog down a few years ago on her 14th birthday. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and something I never want to experience again. Here’s to the good years we have with pets....

Very sorry to hear of your loss, Paul - dogs make the best family and it is ridiculously hard losing them. My thoughts are with you folks.

Thank you JJ. Your Case has such fabulous jigging. The sawcut with it’s non uniform lines and the swelling of the bolster, make for a top drawer carry.

Very sorry to hear of Harley’s passing. My condolences. They are full fledged family members who add so much to our lives.

So sorry for your loss Paul! Always remember the good times my friend!

Sorry for your loss Paul!!!!

paulhilborn paulhilborn ~ very sorry to hear that sad news.

paulhilborn paulhilborn - sorry for your loss

Sad news, Paul, I hope that the good memories outweigh the emptiness . . . eventually they will.

Thank you kindly, Mark!!!
Great way to start your day with some tasty "go go" juice and a very sweet slicer!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sorry for you and your family's loss...

Thank you very much, Harvey!!!

Two wonderful beauties you have today; the covers on both the pen and the lamb are amazing!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup: BTW, I didn't miss your cool old camera from Wetzlar, DE, home of the finest lenses in the world (i.e. Leica/Leitz/Panavision-Primo!!! :)):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm very sorry to read this. I hate these moments. I have had to do this a few times. I have said nothing to the family before, to keep this burden for me . It's very hard . I'm very sorry for your loss.

Nice to see that Ring-Opener Dean, I'd completely forgotten about it :)

Definitely mate :)

LOL! :D Thanks Harvey :)

Stunning Lambsfoot pic, and that Bruckman is a nice little knife too :)

Hope your appointment went OK Chuck

Nice to see that Rachel :)

Thanks a lot JJ, the Shuttle Lamb was a kind gift from sci-fi fan JohnDF JohnDF :) D.R. and Quinch are the baddest teenagers in the universe! :D

Absolutely beautiful pair JJ

Watch your fingers with that Kudu GT! ;)

Fine pair Ron, hope your delivery came OK

Nice

Very sad to learn of your loss Paul, that's a real shame :( It doesn't seem like two minutes since your pal BuddyBoy passed away :( My mate lost his faithful companion Molly the other day, after 18 good and healthy years, thankfully a quick end. She could have been related to your Babygirl :( Hope time is a healer my friend

Striking pair Dylan

Couple of super Sheffield knives Harvey :)

Apologies for my absence yesterday folks, I was a bit under the weather. Wishing everyone a great weekend  All out for stag today

We’re so sorry for your loss Paul! From knowing you these years I understand how much y’all love your pets.

Thanks! We did get our delivery Jack. Then we spent the rest of the day working. Wore this old man out! That’s some great stag beauties you’ve picked for today my friend! :)

paulhilborn paulhilborn , sincere sympathies to you and yours after the passing of your dear dog Harley. Glad you could already celebrate some of the fond memories with the family! :) I wish dogs and humans had more equal lifespans.

- GT

My condolences, paulhilborn paulhilborn . Please take comfort in knowing that you gave her a good life. (my friends joke that if there were such a thing as reincarnation, how good would we have to be to come back as one of our pets)

Thanks, Jack. It amazes me that I didn't lose that little knife on any of my youthful misadventures.

I agree with Jack, @5K Qs . I was looking at one of those in a store some years back. I couldn't get it closed and handed it to my friend to try, who proceeded to slice his hand pretty badly. (and then he was mad at me, for some reason)

I think I'll carry these two again today, since they're still sitting out on the desk from earlier in the week.

Thank you everyone for your sincere condolences, Nanc is blown away by this place I call "the porch" and how truly special this place is. Again, Thank You:)

Good to hear Ron, but don't work too hard, you're supposed to be retired!  Thanks for the compliment buddy :)

Yes indeed Rachel! :D Having said that, I think I have lost more from misadventures as an adult!

I bought one of those Kudus when they first came out - very cheap, even here - but thought it was downright dangerous!

Those two seem to have become a favoured pair Rachel :) It's very rarely I carry a Pruner, but then I guess it's pretty rare I do any gardening  :D When I do, it matches yours

I'd say you have your stag quota spoken for.:thumbsup:

I'm glad to get the day right for once John! :D

An Ironwood Lambsfoot (Jack Black SFO)...

And a Case Wharncliffe Mini Trapper for Stag Saturday.

Great to see Skoll :)
