What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I just had to take the Boker Prime Hornbeam Barlow with me on my hike today. What a fine companion.

Fine indeed! I like the simplicity of approach with that knife, minimal but not austere or ugly. Decent size blade too, nothing worse than large handle and puny blade.

Yes sir, it's very clean in design. A solid performer nonetheless, with a very satisfying and trust invoking snap. The swedge is very nicely done too. It makes the spearpoint blade a lot less dull to look at compared to a SAK.

Got this with me today. I was the luck winner of Vaporstang Vaporstang GAW. The blades had already been worked a little so I just tuned things up a bit to my liking. Turned out from really nice to really really nice:D.
This C. Risner Indian Head stockman knife is well made with good F&F. A good companion to my only other stockman; a Buck 303 that was a gift from my Dad more than 40 years ago.

Glad you like it Bill!

Gorgeous pair of knives, David.:thumbsup:
Thanks Vince, it's really difficult to capture the real brilliance of MOP,at least it is for me. The Camillus is a recover that was done before I bought it, whoever did it did a really nice job. With no pins visible they're glued on but it must be some good stuff, they've never shown a sign of coming loose.
