I’m glad it’s serving you well Stuart!Part of the sterilizing process, Ron. It has seen doves, pheasants, and bunnies, and I thank you every time (though, you doin' the field dressing would be nicer).

Miscellaneous Knife this week is a Case chestnut jigged bone CV mini trapper (I tend to prefer the spey blade):

A Browning A5 "Sweet Sixteen" manufactured by Fabrique Nationale (Herstal, Belgium) in 1955 and a more recent vintage GEC #48 Woodcock (my only GEC, and thanks, RonHalf/Stop ). Note the price of shells on the box. I toted the #48 as a pipe knife today and it was more than adequate (gutting hook as tamper).

Tempting to put mine back in my pocket for another week's tour of duty.
However, I got 5 other stockman that haven't been carried yet.[/QUOTE
Thanks . that particular one would be a good choice . It's around 30 dollars and it's D2 steel with macarta scales made by marbbels . It's a bargain![]()
I don’t spey, but as they say, The Day Is Young, but I also like the spey blades on my trappers and stockmen.Watch Pocket Knife this week is a Colonial wireframe jack with bottle opener (thanks, Dave):
