What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’ve always thought Mr Lincoln is THE classic rose, but Vickie is quite enamored of your Double Delight. Nice work!
But of all the days not to be using your new/old stag hawkbill. :(
:cool:
Thank you very much Jeff . I did not know that I was going to get into thinning Hastas and I did miss having that big new Old Stag on me .
IMHO : The Mr. Lincoln is a very nice rose but I believe there are 2 nicer ones . 1. Chrysler Imperial and 2. Double Delight and for a very nice rose that does not have a fragrance I have to go with the Double Knockout and it is also very low maintenance and I did save 1 of them . I dug up 30 Hybrid Teas in total and saved only 7 just to reduce my work load . Age is starting to take it's toll .

Steve, you consistently post these great pictures of excellent old knives. Some of them make me misty-eyed at their history; all make me happy in their handsome condition in your care. Thank you, pal.

Thanks buddy ! :)

Great-looking ebony JJ :) :thumbsup:

Morning folks, wood today, Arthur Wright and Carl Schlieper :) :thumbsup:

Now that looks mighty tasty; it would be amazing to find a Sheffield beauty like yours at the bottom of a sunflower seed bag!!!:rolleyes::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Your pair of Heritage Schrades are outstanding! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
Pair of aces, JJ! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Thank you very much, Gary!!!
I'm totin' this one solely for Wooden Wednesday, as there is no "relaxed" way to tote it any other time that you aren't always aware that a blade is at least semi-exposed.

Still, it's fun to take this Ft. Stockton, TX knife to the local hardware store and scare/surprise the young clerks,

Wow Stuart, that is not only super cool, it's highly rare and unusual too; I know I'd be bleeding trying to figure that beauty out!:oops::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Those are just just gorgeous.
Sweet slicer, JJ.
Thank you very kindly, good Sir!!!

Fantastic Farmer! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Do you have any interest in the Farmer X with sciss

I didn't know they did the farmer x . Which is a shame really as I was torn between the farmer and the Pioneer x . If I had known about the farmer x I would of preferred that that one . So thanks for that Gary that's another one to my list :rolleyes::) .

First day in three months that I can resume making sales calls in person. Have a contractor presentation and a distributor presentation scheduled, both down in Wilmington. Carrying my GEC #14 - my favorite short, single blade pocketknife - flat in the pocket but plenty of Clip blade. Realized I’ve been using this quickie snapshot for a couple years - got to take a picture that does justice to this little EDC. OH

That's Case's chestnut jigged bone. I really like it, but I've been quite surprised by how much it varies from knife to knife. Here's an example from some of the earliest chestnut jigged CV Case knives I obtained:

Impressive selection of Case knives, Gary.:):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I hear that, Harry. We just keep plugging away, doing what we can, and never say we’re done, right?
