I can imagine the look on their faces now buddy!!!I'm totin' this one solely for Wooden Wednesday, as there is no "relaxed" way to tote it any other time that you aren't always aware that a blade is at least semi-exposed.

Still, it's fun to take this Ft. Stockton, TX knife to the local hardware store and scare/surprise the young clerks,

Stunning Roses my friend!Went out this morning and harvested our first Hybrid Tea roses of the year . One Double Delight and 3 Mr. Lincolns , for @meako to admire too . Both varieties are very Fragrant .
Had the Lambfoot and the Northfield 73 in my pockets .
During the day , while we were splitting some Hasta , Nancy borrowed the Lambfoot and when she was done she put it into her pocket . I finally had to ask for it back . She became a Convert awfully quick .
And of course , the Stag was carried in a slip .
Half/Stop Ron I guess you were right . With a Northfield 73 and a Lambfoot , I do not need any other knife . But I will probably get a few more just in case .
Harry
Thanks Stuart! The Radiant is, well, radiant, Ron.
Yes indeed my friend! Got me jamming early this morning! Ole Johnny was a good one!!!!Slide into this:

Can't not like that Gene Autry knife, John!
That's why I enjoy these cheap knives so much. First, it reminds me of watching the Lone Ranger on TV and Gene Autry at the movies. Also, these cheap knives are what I started buying when I was a kid because it was all I could afford. Great memories... Simpler times. Can't not like that Gene Autry knife, John! When I was a kid my grandfather used to take me to the theatre on Saturday afternoon to the matinee to see Roy Rodgers and Gene Autry and all the other old time westerns.
Then we'd get home in time to watch live wrestling on the local NBC station!!!

I did a couple of searches of the thread to find posts that referred to me (either "GT" or "5K Qs") and then read them all and quoted all the relevant ones. That probably took an hour one night before bedtime. The next day I inserted all those quotes into a new post and reordered them so I had all the quotes from each person in a group, and listed alphabetically by username. That probably took another hour including a brief comment from me for each person.
Thanks for your replies, Jack; I want to keep all my fingers at least as much as you want me to, I'd wager!![]()
That's Case's chestnut jigged bone. I really like it, but I've been quite surprised by how much it varies from knife to knife. Here's an example from some of the earliest chestnut jigged CV Case knives I obtained:
