What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

for shame! Do you know how many pianos had to die for you to have those scales? :D

please don't misconstrue my feeble attempt at humor as a dismissal of elephant poaching. I think poachers should be shot, fed to the hyenas, and shot again. But, that's just me.....
Ha! Yes, I agree that poachers should be trampled, at the very least.
I don't feel guilty about using materials salvaged from 100+ year old pianos, though.
Excellent pairing Rachel! I really like that Ebony big’un! :)

You've got half an orchestra there! :D Great pic Rachel
Thanks!

Nice style:cool:

And as Rupert Brooke wrote "Stands the Church clock at ten to three, And is there honey still for tea?"
The insect on your Laguiole must surely be the Bee not the Fly;) Honey and Bee-Keeping are noble things

Found the book in our neighborhood home yard library...on a walk. The find made me smile... like your post :):thumbsup:

Let us all meditate on the plight of our bees!

Such good color on your Elderberry 81. I tried to limit myself to only one of the last run of these stockman style 81’s. I do regret not picking up one of these. I mean it has all the right stuff; bomb shield, lined bolsters, and great coloration.

Thank you, my friend. I only ended up with two of the 82s from the last run but I moved the Stag along and kept this one. I am determined to carry it more, as I like the blade combination, its ease of carry, and it sure makes for a handsome knife. All that said, it is far from a perfect knife - the jigging is a bit rough in places, the center liner is ever so slightly proud on the backspring, and the blades have marks from blade rub. The blade rub is unavoidable in a knife like this when using it and the other two issues will resolve themselves with more pocket time, I think.

Very pleased with it nonetheless.

Thanks Dylan! Another great pairing my friend! :)

Thank you, Ron!

Continuing with the 82, paired with a Serrano, today.
