Not bad.
I always approve of making whatever changes you want that will make you happy.
I’m liking the Blackwood (which I’ve mistakenly referred to as ebony more than once) ~ even though I voted for Osage Orange.

I "had" to add a stockman to this week's carry.
The serpentine frame 3 blade stockman is an American invention, correct?
Decided on the (BTI) Old Timer 858OT, since it has not witnessed a lot of pocket tyme. As nice as the Marbles MR431 D2 Sow Belly stockman is, I miss my large regular stockman.
I've carried my (BTI) Old Timer 858OTB more than the 858OT, so it can have another week or more off duty.

Happy 4th to all who celebrate it. :)

I wish you’d post photos of your knives!
The 858 Stockman is such a cool handful of Schrade goodness...
What does (BTI) stand for?

Totin’ a pair of Camillus Jacks today.

Have a fun day. Reflect on your blessings no matter what country is home, and if you’re going to play with firecrackers, remember to toss it after you light the fuse.

This Rough Rider white bone canoe started life in my "budget canoe" category, but then it became a unique work of art (thanks. Rachel):

Hey, GT! It's cool that the canoe came up in your rotation for Fourth of July.:thumbsup:

What do you get when you mix red, white, and blue? Purple!

Happy 4th of July my fellow Americans!
Picture was from last nights emergency ice cream run but I’ll be carrying the same load out this morning as I venture forth to gather much needed supply’s for this evenings driveway bash. By “ much needed” I’m talking a replenishment of beer stocks and a bag or two of fireworks! Have a great and safe day. View attachment 1371497

I went out early this morning to do my outside chores before it reaches the projected high of 95 degrees today. I really enjoy the pictured 92 pattern but it is all steel and doesn't do well in my sweaty summertime pockets. I can't remember ever dealing with two kidney stones at the same time as I have been doing for almost a week now. Thank goodness for happy pills. I think the 92 and I will try to spend the rest of the day "chilling" inside.
Have a great and safe 4th everyone!

I wish my ancient, obsolete 2013 Windows Surface RS and my almost as old "smart" phone got along with Imgur and would post pictures.

BTI currently owns all the Schrade brands (except Camillus. Someone else owns that one.) and has them made offshore.
I specify BTI so the good folks here won't be mislead and think I have one of the rare, hard to find in like-new condition and expensive as heck if you do, pre-2004 Domestic production Old Timer, or other Schrade brand.
(I saw a 858OT in good condition. The Selling price was over $100 (it had already sold). That may be "inexpensive" to some, However, $100 is a lotta money to me.)
