What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I switch off for a day, or two, or three but it seems I always come back to this one.

Sitflyer, gorgeous combination! What is the top one?

Thanx Gevonovich! It was made from the tip of a very large R.H. Forschner Victorinox chef knife that I bobbed for use in my kitchen. It was a work knife for me for many years...handles are Osage Orange...it took sevaral hours to grind and drill.

I used the Imperial jack I had in my pocket this morning to open a package containing some new arrivals, and one of them, a Craftsman peanut by Schrade, has kicked the Imperial out of my pocket for the rest of the day.

Great Peanut Doug! Where do you find these beauties, that is a sweet little knife. Long pull swedged clip, nice!

Holy Moly Elliott, that is one beautiful trapper! Man, I wish I could find/afford an Oeser, Jason does incredible work.

A couple of gray bone Case's in my pocket today to match the skies over NE Pennsylvania:

Thanks, bud. He does fine work...and it sure looks like you have all the bases covered with your selection of blades.

^^ jujigatame, that is a very cool picture :D

Gevonovich, some real Beauties there, and love the composition of that shot

Sumthin' purty for going to town...

Thanks. Hard to believe that Jared's only been at it for such a short time. Makes one wonder what we'll be saying in a few years.

Today I had my Peanut.

Seeing the 2012 BFC knives has got me thinking. If I could have one of those with Copperhead jigged bone, steel liners, and O1 blades, I would be a happy camper, quite literally.

GEC #12 Powderhorn Jack was with me today... Copperhead Jigged Bone - what an outstanding great knife. Feels great in pocket and in hand!
