What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you, Dave. It's fun to share with our friends and extended family.

By that's a great old jack. I've got one that's seen a bit more wear but still takes a great edge and snaps like a bear trap!

I thought it was just this one but the snap is pretty amazing! The half stops are super crisp too. It sharpened up so well too. I love old Case knives!

I dropped back in size just a bit to the Texas jack. This one from the "stag rancher" series:

Nice clean design, with pretty decent (for Case anyway) stag covers and sharp CV blades. Sweet little knife!!

I used the Imperial jack I had in my pocket this morning to open a package containing some new arrivals, and one of them, a Craftsman peanut by Schrade, has kicked the Imperial out of my pocket for the rest of the day.

Nice one Doug ! I love the long pull and swedge on the main blade.

When I get home it'll be my new Opinel No 6 in bubinga which came yesterday. Sweet knife and just right in the pocket of my Scout pants last night. I showed it to my Scouts, I get a kick out of their reaction since Opinels are truly foreign to them.

I'm going to buy 4 for our Sneaky Santa Christmas gift exchange this year but can't decide between the No 8 and No 6. Probably No 8 since it seems to be the most popular.

The 2011 Forum knife could almost make me reconsider my commitment to single bladed lockers. Why doesn't GEC put that knife, or at least that blade combination, into production? Until then, my handy non-traditional Micra rides in my LFP and today, in the RFP, is my Opinel #8.
