What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Looks like a very elegant office carry.
Too bad you don't work in an office. ;)

LOL! :D Thanks John, I can carry what I like in my office! :D ;)

For Tidioute Trapper Tuesday

Impressive

I'll be carrying one of these. First, I've got to decide Sheepfoot - Lambfoot. Second, I've got to decide which one of the patterns I choose. Decisions, decisions.

Hope you made the right choice Ed! :p :D ;)

Look at the great looking Tony Bose/Case!

Thanks Harvey, nice pairing my friend, and two fantastic pics

I remember. Between the chewing gum and the "unbreakable" combs. ;) Of course those little Jacks didn't have fancy ebony wood, but they were still nifty.

It was just the same here once Rachel :) That's a very handsome knife

Looks like you've got it all covered there Gary

I’m not fond of the heat, but I sure do like the fresh veggies! Here’s some home cooking and all the vegetables came from within 20 miles of my home. :D Shown with Traditional Knife content! ;)

Still prepping for tomorrow’s delivery. This is the thinnest, lightest knife I own so I’m hoping this is a good trial run. Last couple days I have patted my pocket several times to make sure it was still there. Today seems a little better but it is strange to not be able to feel my knife. Even as light as the 303 was I always new it was there...View attachment 1381312
Is it the pen knife pattern?

Is it the pen pattern? (managed to ask twice)

Yep, it’s a lefty.

This one showed up on the exchange a year or two ago, and despite the fact that I’m not left handed, I couldn’t help myself. :D

They may have put ‘em together backwards, but they sure did a good job doing it. :D

The 73 is a wonderful knife and comes with lots of different and very desirable scale options; fine Stag amongst them; too bad they don't do another run soon. The bone on that example is fantastic, and for a work-knife the liner lock in addition to the heavy spring make for confidence when cutting clingy materials -rubber hose, plastics etc.

But, I'm naively puzzled by this leftie perspective  I open my pocket knives by holding the knife in the right hand, blade opened with the left thumb, always. Do lefties open knives by holding them in the left hand opening the blade with right thumb? Sorry for the naivety but I'm more or less ambidextrous- writing is a bit crap with the left-but can't play instruments with the right:D and can use tools/guns either hand etc. Left handers absurdly claim higher intelligence (one of my brother's idiotic propaganda...) and the ambidextrous are supposed to be the most stupid;) Don't know about that, but foolish I can relate to :D

Thanks, Will

Will, you might be interested in this old thread that documents the variety of ways that people use to open pocket knives: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/how-many-ways-do-you-open-a-slipjoint.1245274/

Thank you, Jack. It was originally clad in black plastic, but @Markesharp recovered it in ebony. He replaced some celluloid with pretty orange bone on this little Keen Kutter, too.

I see a SAK theme emerging today. It works if I use my German accent. Wiktorinox Wednesday...

I usually between 5 and 10 fruit and vegetable portions a day, but that hasn't been the case during the lockdown here :( I did get a good haul yesterday though :) Thanks pal
