I'd say keep it and use it, you'll regret selling it and it's too pretty and too functional not to carry and use it imho
Yes, it’s a tenkara rod. I really like it and probably use it more than my other fly rods. Certain times of the year I just leave it in my truck and if an opportunity to fish comes up, I’m ready. It’s super simple, lightweight, and fast to pull out and be ready to go. I guess it just works well for what I do. Around my house I mostly use it for bass and bluegill. If I’m camping in the sierras or at our ranch in Oregon, then I’m using it on trout. It’s fun for both. Now, landing a fish with it is a bit of an adventure. Since you don’t have the line in your hand, you can’t pull the line in or reel it in, but you get used to it.Is that a tenkara rod? I've been trying to decide whether to get one of those or just 5 weight to replace the one I left in Alaska.
