I think that's the one I anguished over too long on the specials page of a non-BF-dealer. Nice.
Sorry if you missed the sale. I don't see anything particularly wrong with mine. The blade is nicely centered. It has a half stop. The action and snap are excellent. There is some sort of white stuff around the two larger pins that you can see in the pictures, maybe bone dust from drilling the holes slightly off center. It is invisible except in the larger than life photos. I like the knife very much.

Better late than never! It’s been a busy day. We started early this morning by going to the local farmers market. We got some more okra, new red potatoes, sweet potatoes and some heirloom tomatoes! Then we went to Cracker Barrel and had a good breakfast. Next we went to my brother-in-laws house to take him some okra and tomatoes. Next we stopped by the grocery store and got the items we will need for the coming week. While I was in the store I got a call from my pal Harry @Old Engineer. He wanted to let me know he had received his Mesquite 23L from CK. Next we stopped and filled up the tank on Pam’s Avalon. Then we headed home and unloaded all the groceries and fresh produce. By then it was passed time for lunch. After lunch we went out and did our mowing and weed eater work in the lawn. After we both had our shower, we fixed some baked spaghetti and garlic bread for supper. All during the day I was carrying two of my stag favorites. My EDC Northfield #35 Churchill and my Jack Black SFO Hartshead Barlow. After dessert I settled in and opened my package from CK. Wow! :D What a way to spend the rest of the evening. CEing and CFing my new Northfield #23L SFO with some extremely nice Mesquite to admire. Y’all stay safe out there! :)

Took off work a couple hours early, finished my can of pistachio mix, drinking a beer and listening to my almost 4 year old tell me stories about big foot. :D
These were in the pocket today. Unintended double Black Friday I suppose.

Dang! Those are 2 of the last 3 GECs on my wishlist!

This one hasnt been getting any pocket time lately, but today (well, technically, yesterday) I did put it through its paces. It helped in kitchen as well as with some yard work. Have a beautiful sunday everybody!

That’s quite a full day, buddy!
I worked at the farm from seven to about one. We had some boxes of produce that we had to harvest for. Then I putzed around picking, weeding, looking for insect pests (two turkeys had a squabble over the three inch tomato worm I tossed them).
Brought some dill home, and put up 2 1/2 gallons of cold pack dill pickles with cukes out of my home garden.
Changed the plugs on my back-up car, and now I’m icing my knee because I hurt it trying to keep up with you!

Here’s the fixed blade for today. The tie goes on my belt and I carry it in my rfp. Very handy to get a blade out one handed.
Have a great evening, Ron!

That Boulevard is the best deal going. Their Pale Ale is my go to and Wal Mart always has it. Nice knives too!

Home from work and off to spend an afternoon just running around and hanging out with my best gal. Decided I feel fancy ( and she is always asking why I don’t carry this) so it’s mammoth bone, turquoise and Damascus for the rest of the day!View attachment 1389389
How is the quality on these? Been looking at one in mammoth tooth for my wife.

A humble Case Sodbuster arrived in the mail today. Slightly re-profiled the blade and addressed a severe rough open and close issue. Has nice pocket worn covers, centered blade with no play and now a wicked tru-sharp blade. Carries thin, yet plenty of blade. Apart from the rough open and close issue which is now fixed, the only issue that bothered me is off colored covers from pile to mark side, kind of common with Case in my opinion. I see Rit Dye in it's future. Overall, I'm good with the price I paid, it's a very capable knife:thumbsup:
