What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

With our six hour time difference, I hope you are all tucked in and sound asleep resting up for your big day, and don’t see this until morning.
I still remember one of the Yorkshire colloquialisms from your posts a couple of years ago, which I won’t repeat now.
Here’s hoping for a special day!

Thanks a lot Jeff, I had a great day :)

Hot off Bret’s bench and staying hot in my pocket for a long time I bet

Acid etched A2 blades and springs, stainless fittings, and Claro Walnut. 4.25” closed.

Very impressive indeed Jake

It's a rare Three Knife Day...

My usual Lambsfoot...
and a Happy Yorkshire Day to my friend Jack Black Jack Black

My Northfield Barlow which I've been lovin' lately...

And a very cool little Pen Knife that Jack Black just sent me with some other goodies...
Hope fully Jack can give me more information on it as my old eyes can't make out the tang stamp.

Many thanks John, what did you make of the jelly babies? I have to say, they look a bit rough and ready, but I was a kid the last time I had one, so my memory might be flawed! :D The Penknife is by Joseph Elliott & Son of Sheffield, where the grandfather of the maker of your Hartshead Barlow worked. They were an old Sheffield firm, dating to 1795, and lasting until 1995. Their old factory still stands

Better late than never! It’s been a busy day. We started early this morning by going to the local farmers market. We got some more okra, new red potatoes, sweet potatoes and some heirloom tomatoes! Then we went to Cracker Barrel and had a good breakfast. Next we went to my brother-in-laws house to take him some okra and tomatoes. Next we stopped by the grocery store and got the items we will need for the coming week. While I was in the store I got a call from my pal Harry @Old Engineer. He wanted to let me know he had received his Mesquite 23L from CK. Next we stopped and filled up the tank on Pam’s Avalon. Then we headed home and unloaded all the groceries and fresh produce. By then it was passed time for lunch. After lunch we went out and did our mowing and weed eater work in the lawn. After we both had our shower, we fixed some baked spaghetti and garlic bread for supper. All during the day I was carrying two of my stag favorites. My EDC Northfield #35 Churchill and my Jack Black SFO Hartshead Barlow. After dessert I settled in and opened my package from CK. Wow! :D What a way to spend the rest of the evening. CEing and CFing my new Northfield #23L SFO with some extremely nice Mesquite to admire. Y’all stay safe out there! :)

The little guys were really good... they are all gone. :D

Thanks, Jack. Great information and thanks for the picture to go with it. It's fun to play with, the blades are very 'snappy'.:thumbsup:

Heading out the door in a few minutes...

That's good to hear John, and I'm glad you like the penknife :) Have a great time fishing my friend

Thank you, Jack. I'm glad you had a smashing Yorkshire Day.
I'm toting the same pair today, so I'll show off the other side.

Thanks again Rachel, you really did a fantastic job with that RR Barlow

Good morning everyone! :) I’m getting to know my new Northfield 23L in Mesquite from our friend Mike at CK. The folks at GEC have really made some stunning knives for Mike! I’ve also dropped my William Rodgers Horn Lambsfoot in my pocket. It’s a smaller size and doesn’t mind sharing pocket space! ;) Y’all have a great day! Be safe wherever you’re at! :)
