I really like this one, can you tell me a little about it please? It is very interesting to me :)

Thank you very much, it is a very old Portuguese knife made by José Manuel Pires (J.M.P.) in the village of Especiosa-Miranda do Douro.
This craftsman has died, but his son (aged 82) continues to make beautiful knives.
It has a 7.5 cm blade, made of stainless steel and a 9 cm closed, with bovine horn hands.;):thumbsup:

One of the knives made by his son, Veríssimo-Miranda do Douro.

Great to be in such fine company Ron ;) :D
I’m honored to call both you and Harry my friends! :)

That’s a great way to start the week Jack! Your Winchester Moose pairs nicely with your Hartshead Stag giving you three different blades to choose from! :)

I made it through every post in this thread thismorning without getting the dreaded "Are you sure you want to like this post" message. Yay!

That's my grail knife... Congrats on owning one.:thumbsup:
I used to work for an outfitter packing mules and horses into the mountains.

Looking good John, nice Case
Thank you, Jack. :)
It is my absolute favorite Case knife.

You've got one too... Congratulations.:thumbsup:
The shield is priceless to those of us that have worked with those stubborn beasts. :D

I have almost all woods and almost all are black.
That's because black wood handles are the best (I'm biased) ;):D:cool:

It won’t do that if you let the page finish loading before you start hitting “like”.
