Thanks Amir. Yes, the rock went in, but it was no biggie because we did sausages on a stick anyway. Opi was used to cut the sticks and carve up the sausages, and performed admirably, of course! Always wonderful to sit around the campfire as the sun sets.

JD, some really nice wood grain appearing in both slabs of your Buck’s.

Joe, don’t know the official color name of the GEC on the bottom - but that is an attractive orange (there are very few attractive orange colored slabs IMO) but that one it really pretty.

Been carrying my Schrade USA Jackknife mod the last several days but for today I’m switching to a Buck 303. OH

Joe, don’t know the official color name of the GEC on the bottom - but that is an attractive orange (there are very few attractive orange colored slabs IMO) but that one it really pretty.

Thank you. It's really hard to get the color correct but it is more red and GEC calls it smooth red bone.
