I wish we still had drive in theaters around us.

We have a few, but the premier one anywhere as far as I'm concerned is the silver Lake twin drive-in located in Perry NY. I was fortunate enough to grow up about 15 minutes away and live less than 10 from there now. It's a staple for Wyoming county youth. So many good memories...

Pursuing my woodworking hobby today on some black locust and packing 2 Sunday knives, Marbles LL & Schatt jack. Sadly no knives were used, rasp, files, cabinet scraper and sandpaper are more fitting to the task.

It's black locust, John. Put some leather dye on it and it really pops. Here's another of BL I made and dyed.

I have always liked medium stockmans and I have "a few" of them, but the sowbelly is a little more hefty & just fits my hand better.

Yeah, I always like the mediums too, I just got that sow belly a few weeks ago, it definitely took me too long to get around to buying one.

Your Bow looks very nice . Looks like it would be interesting to make too . I have not made one in probably 65 years or more and it would have been a very simple one at that .

That's nice! My saw cut has some lighter color toward the bolsters, which looks nice, but I like yours more betterer. Did you die it, or was it like that from the factory?
