Great folder for kitchen use, isn’t it?

Paul, you got me wondering if I even had a GEC knife from 2012 (I bought my first GEC in 2015, and knew I had a handful from 2013 and 2014, but couldn’t think of a ‘12 off the the top of my head). I had to check my spreadsheet, turns out I have just one: the Ebony spearpoint PPP TC Barlow I won in Duncan’s giveaway a while back. I’ve sharpened it once, and used it some since. I don’t remember noticing anything out of the ordinary sharpening-wise, I’ll have to pay more attention next time. ;) :D

Cool photo, and a good looking Laguiole.

Looking good, Ron! Enjoy! :D

I’ve been trying to think of what to carry next after almost a full month with my Woodland Micarta #23. I did switch it up a bit yesterday, but I think I’m going to take a cue from Vince and drop my own Stephane Thomachot (a generous gift from @Âchillepattada) in my pocket for a while.

Now Barrett, it could all be in my head:D seriously though I have five 15's from 2012 that I carry, more that reside in knife rolls, but those five just fall into that ease of ,and super sharp category. It could be many things, geometry, steel, hardening etc... or... just my imagination (The Temptations):)

Today is Charlies Lambfoot:thumbsup:

It’s been a busy weekend. We’ve been doing some late spring/early fall cleaning. We also did some rearranging in the living room! I also did some major maintenance on around 40 or so knives. Oiling and inspection takes some time. I also did some work in my knife chest taking some items out and rearranging some of the drawers. My carries today are a repeat of an earlier pairing during the week. That’s another thing I did. I removed all my knives that were on my end table and put them in the knife chest. ;)

Thanks Barrett! :) I’ve been enjoying it! What a wonderful gift and such a beautiful knife!

Thank you, my friend - that Ironwood #66 of yours is terrific.

Both knives are a real treat but that M&G is exquisite - the Ebony is something else.

Thank you, Jack! I think I've done the same with my lambsfoot in the past, it sure works wonders in a pinch. Especially right now, I am having to get creative as I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel so none of my utensils are where they are supposed to be.

A striking pair, Ron, I am especially enamored by that Presidential.

I am getting ready for a night on the town with my wife - I will be carrying these two.

What’s the bolster material on the M & G?
