I wanted to try something a little different today, so i am carrying my modded Opinel 7
sharp little bugger and while bigger, its even lighter than my texas jack!

also, with wooden handles instead of bone scales i am not nearly as scared of dropping it!

Today it's this Case SBJ in stag and Case's excellent Thomas raindrop damascus. Accompanying it is a great little City Knife, made by Eldon Talley, in mammoth ivory and ATS-34.

I carry them both in the pocket sheath.

Really beautiful Gary, and that's a great pocket sheath too :)

Thanks Hepclass, but the Tompkin belongs to Lambertina now, he won it in the Otley Run giveaway I did, I was just taking some pics for him. I thinks it's a very nice little knife :)

The knives I was carrying for me today were these two :)

Those are some nice old knives Jack. I really like that Mora.

Thanks Gary, kind of you to say so. The Mora's cleaned up OK and carries a good edge. I'm enjoying using it, but it's a bit large for my EDC needs these days, and while I like the way it handles, I do prefer a full flat grind :)

I`ve decided to carry my 1950s Utica Kutmaster Muskrat, and also have a Rough Rider Congress with me. And since I use my knives more on food than anything else, and neither of those 2 are good at food prep I got my trusty 2011 EO jack.

^^Thank you Mark, I think I'm addicted to these GEC 25's. So easy to carry and offer a decent handle thickness for grip.

i accidentally posted this to the wrong thread...but i though i would repost this here :p

I edc'd my opinel 7 today for the first time
i dont know, but man that thing just CUTS through wood ...i havent seen anything like it
i was VERY impressed with its thin blade and awesome cutting ability.

i've heard folks talk about how well it works, but its something I just had to see for myself
i am very impressed!
