He looks like a friendly and happy ninja turtle :D
I would be happy to if I was carrying those two beautiful knives

Hahaha man I loved the TMNT!! Thats actually a Squirtle.....I seem to be in a somewhat shameless mood today lol. :p

Back on topic. Went to the store and carried this one with me along with the tiny trapper from the first pic.

Not totin', necessarily... but, this one showed up this afternoon in honor of National Knife Day. Got lucky and stumbled across this on the M&G site, after they had been out of stock for a while. Assuming it was a restock, but of course that was an obvious sign for me to buy (:D), coupled with my recent rediscovery of the 29 as a fantastic user!

Now Barrett, it could all be in my head:D seriously though I have five 15's from 2012 that I carry, more that reside in knife rolls, but those five just fall into that ease of ,and super sharp category. It could be many things, geometry, steel, hardening etc... or... just my imagination (The Temptations):)

Today is Charlies Lambfoot:thumbsup:

Paul, I’ve also had some that just seem easier to get super sharp, so I get what you’re saying. The thing I appreciate about GEC’s grinds and factory edges is that they’re consistent and easy to sharpen, at least in my experience. I can only think of a couple that have ever given me any trouble, and even then the issue was minor.

Good-looking knife Barrett, and an interesting pattern

I've admired those knives that you and Vince have shown off - seems like a very useful design - a sheepfoot with a touch of belly.

Thanks guys. It is an interesting pattern. Fairly slim handle with a lot of blade (which seems common with French folders). I like how the edge is offset a bit from the handle, sort of like a Santoku. The only downside I’ve found so far is that the blade/handle combination results in a very high-sitting tang when the knife is closed.

(I’d call it a pocket killer, but honestly, the corner on that tang is less sharp the the square bolsters on the #23 I’ve been carrying.) :D

These today :

Harry

Harry, you just need to add a blade with some belly and you’d have all the bases covered! ;) :D

Paul, that’s absolutely one of my favorite knives GEC has made.  If I remember correctly, Bob was a big fan of that one, too. :)

Toting these two today. :)

Thank you very much, Jack!!! The stockman is a Queen/S&M from the last year Bill Howard was still in charge.
Jack is right. Really lovely jigging on the stockman.

I also like the way the knife snaps open so authoritatively. And I sometimes carry it in a leather pocket slip to protect the pocket (and the knife!). Great pattern.
