Nice to see your beautiful 00 73 again.
I was just giving mine a fresh edge and oil last night.

@JonMcD~ I’ll bet the Strat and Les Paul sound great through the Maz Jr!
I will run a Tele through a Pro Reverb later in your honor:D

Eight dot Case XX 620091/2 joins the Craftsman Whittler today.
Have a great day, and any of you in the path of hurricane Laura, I’ll be thinking of you.View attachment 1407447View attachment 1407448

Yes! Crank that original blackface 65 Pro Reverb till it makes your toes curl! Out of the dozen amps that I sold off when I stopped playing regularly, I had to keep the red Z (it’s a scientific fact that red amps have better tone) and a 71 Supro Thunderbolt. The Z is just so hard to beat.

That craftsman is such a cool whittler, btw. I’ve enjoyed seeing it this week!

Found me a new pocket slip. :D

LOL! :D That reminds me of when the infamous Earl Barlow was on the lam, and had to get a disguise ;) :D

Right:thumbsup: Bundeswehr is the Federal Republic of Germany's army, successor to the Wehrmacht and Reichswehr and founded in 1955. Conscription/compulsory military service was suspended c.2011. It is most certainly NOT a manufacturing company!

If it has China on it then it's a Chinese copy or rendering not official kit, Jer is correct Jack Black Jack Black and @Jolipapa have shed valuable light on the variations on this army form of knife. Like all countries, various pieces of kit are issued or sold to soldiers and will be made by various different companies. British Army Clasp Knives were likely made by different manufacturers to approx specifications, very likely similar in most other armies.

Yes indeed, they can vary by a surprising amount

Thought I'd throw in my Victorinox Mauser from 1982

Thanks John! :) I gave mine a spa treatment several weeks back. I usually hit the edge a lick or two on my Sharpmaker to keep it hair popping sharp! ;)

Lol! The infamous Earl! I haven't thought about him in quite a while Jack! I wander what ever happened to him? Thanks for the compliment on my pairing Jack. That drop point compliments the lambsfoot very well. That's a classy pairing you're carrying today my friend! :)

The Barlow ended up getting little carry. I used the Vic to snip off a hospital bracelet, always a wonderful feeling.
These today, unless I go even lighter for the heat. (I was pleased to learn yesterday that dehydration can have symptoms very like a stroke. A stroke was what I thought I had.)

I think this Burgundy 18 is my favorite.
