WOW!!! what a beauty!!!

Is that in Walnut Bone? I bought one some years back but returned it to the vendor as it had a LOT of blade-play on all three. He sent me a very OK replacement which I gave away to somebody on the Forum, almost regret that ;):D Beautiful Bone and a good compact carry, I do have on in Root Beer which looks nice too, fantastic coin with that knife:thumbsup:

Regards, Will

Yes Will, it is the Walnut Bone. Thank you for your kind comments. I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck with yours. Mine is about as close to perfect as any of my Case knives, and I have a lot of them.

Absolutely gorgeous, Dee!:thumbsup::) I like that color, too.

We're not going anywhere today as I'll be sitting in the sun in order to boost my Vitamin D level.o_O Don't ask me - my Oncologist and Dietitian told me to do it.

Anyway, I'll be totin my Boker Trapper with cocobolo wood covers in it's sheath around the place today.

Nice sheath for your trapper, Ed. Is it horizontal carry?

I read that vitamin D deficiency is common among those who are hardest hit by covid, so listen to yer doc!

Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. It's Sunday, so Mrs. Crazy Canuck and I headed out to the hills for a hike. Was really cloudy on the drive out, but by the time we got to the top it all cleared out and we had some amazing views!

No snow in sight yet, so that means the 29 tagged along, joined by a Dozier.

I haven't posted in this thread since July 31, and I've read very few of the 100 pages that have been posted here in August. Maybe I'm getting in touch with my "Mediterranean heritage" (except I think all of my ancestors for at least 3 generations are Dutch ;)) and taking a holiday for all of August as many do in Spain and Italy. Anyway, I won't attempt to catch up other than to post some of the knives I've been carrying for the past 3 weeks, including a 2-week vacation on the shore of Lake Huron in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

I had these 2 French knives, since there's an archipelago with a French name just offshore in Lake Huron where we stay:

I had these 3 oldies (an Imperial stockman, a Schrade USA 33OT, and a Sabre trapper) that a colleague at work gave me last December. They're shown with a scoresheet for a table game that my wife and I usually played once each day while away:

I happily used both a Chinese Imperial and a Case Sodbuster Jr. during August:

And I had this big Böker stockman at my beck and call as well (thanks for the GAW, Will):

Very nice Pattern , Shield and Stag Paul . Like everything about that knife my friend .

Harry
Thanks Harry, it's a favorite of mine of late, I always liked it but didn't carry it much, funny how that works. Then you kind of rediscover a knife and it makes you wonder why it took so long:oops: Short sheepfoot and a nice pen blade but it cuts all that needs cutting:) Carry's really well.
You and Nanc stay safe and be well Harry:thumbsup:
