What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ok, serious question ~ WHAT IS A WATCH POCKET???
I always thought it was the little pocket above the right front pocket. Originally big enough for a ...pocket watch;), which, when pocket watches became antiquated, morphed into a “change pocket”. Along the line, they shrunk, too.
I find that they hold a Peanut, or similar sized knife only. If we are talking about the same pocket, how in the blue blazes do you fit a Mercator in there??? Sticking out the top, poking your gut when you sit? Straighten me out!:)
;)
On one pair of my jeans (Wrangler, brand, I think) they put the watch pocket opening under the belt, making it completely and totally useless. (unless you're wearing suspenders instead of a belt) :(

This made it to me Friday. My first custom that I had input in. African blackwood Eureka Jack, with a handmade shield (used by NY Cutlery Co in the early 1900s). The craftsmanship is impeccable, and I couldn't be happier and more proud to have it.

Is that in Walnut Bone? I bought one some years back but returned it to the vendor as it had a LOT of blade-play on all three. He sent me a very OK replacement which I gave away to somebody on the Forum, almost regret that ;):D Beautiful Bone and a good compact carry, I do have on in Root Beer which looks nice too, fantastic coin with that knife:thumbsup:

Regards, Will
