What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another week another hurricane! Godspeed to all of my fellow Gulf Coast residents!

BTW, if you ever have a chance to grab one of these Case/Bose Cattle Knives, do it. This is one of the sweetest knives in my collection. A pleasure to use, tote, and look at. It just fits perfectly at the bottom of your pocket. Excellent size and shape.

I agree. I'm occasionally tempted to hit the "Buy it now" button on the larger Premium Stockman, but I think it'll be a tad too big for my liking. The Cattle Knife seems just about right.

Sitting around inside avoiding all the wildfire smoke...drinking beer...eating sausage. Just trying to make proper use of the downtime.

This is a working sunday, so nothing fancy. Just a nr 8 garden Opinel I came across in a knife shop. I have looked this model for a long time, it is a bit different from other Opinels. I did what I allways do to these (sand little off the sides of the handle, burn, rub, oil and wax, pack the pivot with grease and melt it with hair dryer working the blade back and forth). Can you tell me what makes it garden knife? To me it is just a lovely allround knife.

Have a great "Stag Sunday" Jack. Very nice photo of you HHB. Not sure what the other knife is but it's a great looking one.

Last night thunderstorms and very heavy rain, autumn is here. But today, sunny yet windy and I crave simplicity. My favourite SAK single-spring 2 blades, I need no more today. Wherever you are, let your day be rewarding.
