That is a pretty nice looking Barlow with pretty nice Stag my friend , especially when I expect that it is a pretty Rare Knife . How many do you reckon Mark made in total ???

Harry
Thanks Harry, not sure the total numbers of fish barlows, just by tracking the ones in the thread I posted of Marks work, I'd a say about 2 dozen maybe? the ones covered in Stag are only 3 or 4 according to Mark if my memory serves, Duncan has the only other Stag that I know of, although it's no where near as nice as mine:D I kid. This one was the first with Marks new tang stamp and use of CPM-154. Mark has terrific designs and made major improvement with every knife, then he bought his own business and knife making took a back seat. His fish Barlow fixed blades are absolutely fantastic as are his Nessmuk fixed blades. Mark also made a trapper style similar to GEC's #73 pattern, a Gunstock and a shadow pattern folder.

We speak via phone from time to time, I miss his presence and participation here and wish he'd come back to the porch:thumbsup:

I’m totin these two today! I had to whip out my #48 in Walmart this morning. I had a package of bell peppers that were shrink wrapped (I know, I know, and I’m not going to even mention where they were grown at)! The cashier couldn’t scan the barcode because it was all crinkled up in the wrapping. I cut the barcode out of the plastic wrap and all was good! I hope everyone has a great day! :)
