Just got this GEC scout in imitation ivory (casien). Shown next to a soddie jr for scale.
Anyone know anything about casien? It does have nice grain that looks ivory-like.

An old case swing guard lockback. I broke a chunk of the bjigged bone handle out when throwing the knife at a tree. I patched the handle with something called liquid steel, or liquid metal, and it has held for about 30 years. Have to carry it now and then to remind myself how stupid I was.

I carried only one knife today. Not sure what was wrong with me. LOL.

Used it to make dinner. And to eat said dinner, steak. Cut through it like butter. Very soft butter.

Thats a great lookin Rem..
Is it the pic or is that Damascus ? Nice touch with the etched bolster. Nice bone too... Heck thats just a good lookin knife

Nice looking edc's y'all are are sport'n here as of late.

I dropped this S&M Barlow in my pocket this morning and really enjoyed carrying it today. Authentic Winterbottom bone scales and hair popp'n sharp ATS-34 blades with half stops makes it a real pleasure to carry about.. :)

Winterbottom is awesome. About how big is that knife? I have a forum barlow on order too but I'm only familiar with the small size of the GEC barlow.

Bad pic on my part. It's a 3 1/2" Silver Bullet, Engraved, Damascus bladed, They were issued in 1998 by Remington, made by Camillus.. Blades sharpen very well and stay sharp.... Great little carry knife....

Thanks for the comment....

The little doctors knife goes in my watch pocket, along with the antler pipe tamper.... Pipe and tobacco, one in back other in left front....:D

What do you use the spatula for if you already have a tamper? Do you use it to transfer the tobacco?
