What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wood stacked and covered for the winter! Now time to relax!

Carried this Old Stag Pruner and an old Taylors Eye Witness again today as we went to the dump and then picked up leaves again . As much as I carry them , I suppose you folks must think I like these old knives by now .

Then after I finished and cleaned up I got these out of the mail box and have carried them both in slips since .

Good pair of workers right there.:thumbsup:

I'm enjoying my little Boker Barlow too.
I may have to hunt down a couple of more cover options.
Thanks, John, and yes indeed.
Your HHB and all the new 74s can fight it out for prettiest.:D
Sure are some lookers popping up here, yours included!

As a side note regarding “work knives”, once again I was reminded why so many old knives show more wear on the pen, and not on the main. The 33 was on my bench all afternoon, being used constantly, and I never once opened the main.
93 while workin’ in the yard. It’s well camouflaged and completely dwarfed by these enormous Elephant Ears I’m finally hacking down.

I confess.
I had a couple of those that got gigantic. Almost ridiculously so...
But one year I forgot to dig up the bulbs and bring them in.

Thank you very much, Jack!!!

Quite a striking pair of beauties you have today; I'd never heard of "bagpipe" ebony, but it sure looks cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you JJ, the bagpipe ebony came from a maker of bagpipes :D They need long lenghs for the pipes, and using the off-cuts for knife covers seemed like a great idea ;)

Great knives for double-name Friday, Jack. That is a great shot of your Scratted Barlow with a nice old-timey background.:thumbsup:

Many thanks Dean :)

I carried this Case mini muskrat on today's walk in the park.
