What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Heading to the woods for a couple of days, carrying this Three-Dot Buck 110 Folding Hunter and this Case 6332 Medium Stockman. Both of these long ago earned their spurs. OH

This Thiers de Fontenille Pataud knife is very good, Vince!
I just placed an order to the Factory for a "Le Thiers® Pocket Bois de cerf" (stag), and I'm looking forward to having it in my hands!:):thumbsup:
Thanks, José! I almost bought the Thiers Pocket, but finally decided I wanted something a little bigger. The Pocket I am sure will please you. And stag is a great handle choice.

Success? Congratulations!!!

Thanks Jeff. My daughter was able to fill her tag on a mule deer buck after a pretty good stalk. It was well earned as it’s been a tough week of hunting with crazy warm temperatures. Today we awoke to ice and snow. It’s amazing how fast it can change. Back to the knife stuff. The little Hess Whitetail is about the perfect size, not too big and not too small.

Back in the 1980’s and early 90’s you could still get ceramic thermowells at the refinery where I worked. They were awesome for touching up the edges on your knives. Eventually, they switched over to all metal thermowells and the ceramic ones went the way of the dodo.
Oh me oh my. Your big Clauss Jack is absolutely stunning!

Don't know what drove me to make the decision to carry this knife today. It's snowing outside and I'm not going anywhere but this Remington Short Bolster Camp Knife is in my pocket. Pretty uncomfortable as a matter of fact (4 7/8" closed). It's really meant to be carried on the belt or a jacket/coat pocket. I'll probably change it out for something else later but for now, I've got a boat anchor in my pocket.
