Thank you JJ, the bagpipe ebony came from a maker of bagpipes :D They need long lenghs for the pipes, and using the off-cuts for knife covers seemed like a great idea ;) :thumbsup:

Back home from 7 days in the Northwoods of Michigan. Carried this American made puukko style knife every single enjoyable day out there in the beautiful wilds of the Huron National Forest. Went from blizzard like wind and snow to summer like heat in the course of that week in deer camp.:)
