Thanks a lot Barrett for the kind words . We went from 75 at around 3:30 to about 35 F when I went to the sack at 11:00 .
I would appreciate it though if you could keep the snow up there until I get my leaves picked up tomorrow . Maybe I need a Bull Buster like yours someday , but probably not . At 80 , I need very few additional knives .

Harry

Good luck with the leaves, Harry. I was out finishing up with ours on Sunday because I knew the snow was coming.

The Bull Buster is a great larger sodbuster pattern. I like dropping one in my pocket when I’ll be out working in the yard. (Also pinchable with most gloves.)

God Bless the USA and Happy Veterans Day to all that have served. God Bless You !!!!!!

As I was scrolling I saw a couple of those - I thought they were Northwoods Knives until I read the thread. They have certainly upped their game quality wise, but they are a shameless knockoff of Northwoods in my opinion. I’m sure Northwoods is thrilled because their knives are instantly recognizable by style. OH

I normally have some Inox lying handy for fishing reel maintenance and the like.

I find it a bit thin for knife work, but really handy to apply with the applicator. I have some Breakfree stored somewhere and when the bottle is empty I will refill it with that.

Thanks, i always like to hear other peoples opinions on what they use, i have Inox, Balistol, labelle 108 and some degreaser always on hand and i find them all useful for many purposes. Thank you for the reply.

Despite having a large No. of fixed blades, seldom use or carry any of them except for a modest Puukko and this flat ground Grohmann Bird&Trout type. It's also a fantastic food prep knife.
The Buck Forum Knife is a big favourite here  These on a handy small Finnish Army bread bag or gas-mask pack- appropriate for all the fear...;)

Thank you very much JJ, I always enjoy seeing that pairing :)

Cheers Dave :)

What sickens me is when posters cock their legs over the rules of this sub-forum  Political posts don't belong here. however strongly you feel about an issue. Our mods have enough to do, go and read the rules

That looks nice :)

It's not a political post. It's about credibility and honesty.

Good looking pair, Ron! Your #74’s looking good, too, but I don’t think it can beat the Ironwood on that Guardians Lambsfoot!

Old photo (there’s more patina on the blade now), but I’m carrying this one again today.

Thanks Barrett! :) By that being an old photo does it mean that you do or don't have the white stuff yet? ;) Either way the #21 is one heck of a work knife!

Thanks Ron and that is a lot of beautiful Wood for today .

Harry
