What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jeff that's two dandy jigged bone examples your carrying today! :)
Hey! Thanks, Ron.
You know, I like your daily “Y’all stay safe out there.” Seems like we’re gonna have to focus on that for awhile. Again.
Had to cancel our air flights ~ to Atlanta to pick up 3 granddaughters, then on to Denver to spend Thanksgiving with our son and his family. Actually had to cancel the exact same trip last April.
So I’m just going to drive to Georgia, and bring the girls here for a week.
Don’t tell our Governor, ok?
Doing quite well, thanks. Everything I like is vintage (I was an old soul at 8!) - I prefer old guns, old style lures, old (and old style) knives, lead tip bullets, canvas outdoor clothing, etc. Of course getting my Medicare Card in the mail, and transitioning to TRICARE for Life, caused a moment or two reflection lately - that's the last transition - but I'm good, I'm here! OH

Welcome to medicare! It’s been good to me, but I’ll be glad when the annual upgrade/enrollment emails stop.
Today's totes are a pair of "thrifty" pre WWII Imperial Hammer Brands with their "cracked ice" covers. :)
I like Hammer Brand.

I am enjoying this 2020 Forum Knife much more than I thought I would. Great job by Viper and Mike Latham @knifeswapper . It is a great one to carry and use.
The Brittany Spaniel is a wonderful breed.
We’ve been blessed with two in our married life, Lester and Mike. Still miss ‘em.

I sold my #77 Barlow.
If it had a clip and red saw cut bone, I'd still have it.
It's a drop dead gorgeous knife. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks John! Ole Red is definitely made from unobtainium! :)

I can assure you I’d be the last one to say anything Jeff! ;) Y’all have a great time and be safe out there! :)

Thanks a lot JJ, a couple of cracking 'thrifties' there my friend, and nicely matched ;) :)

Thanks for the kind words guys and that one did work out nicely for fitup, knife snaps in pretty well and should hold a long time. Now, his request was to get a maple leaf on there, so I took a drive to the nearest Tandy which isn't very near :( and the maple leaf that was available would not fit on the sheath, found another but it was the Canadian Flag and also didn't really fit. But I got them at the time, along with a few others while I was up there in Syracuse NY. SO, to lessen his disappointment I embossed the one leaf onto the belt loop section and dyed it red which can be tricky too, but it came out ok and he was surprised as I did not let on that I had done so.

Handsome and interesting trio Gary :)

Hope everyone has made it through the week in good shape. It's been too long since I carried my 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot, so I'm pairing it today with another Old Friend, my #66 Serpentine Jack :)

Thanks for the compliment Jack! It's great to see your 2017 Guardians special horn model. Like so many in that first run, it's a beautiful knife! I always enjoy seeing that beautiful green jigged bone #66 Jack also. That's a GEC model that doesn't get shown very often on the forum. Stay safe my friend! :)

Without delving into Espanol, I can’t find a day that starts with D for delrin. So, I’ve made an executive decision, enforceable only for me, to designate today Delrin Day.
Schrade/Schrade Walden, demonstrate their delrin diversity by doing imitation bonestag delrin, and peach seed jigged delrin.
I think these crazy iris think it’s spring time!View attachment 1458728View attachment 1458730
