Ed, this might tickle your fancy...

Yes sir, it sure does!! That's a fine piece for sure. I'll have to take another quick look at it when I have a safe place to faint.

For today, I'm carrying that S&M Heritage jack in rosewood again. Christian's ebony one inspires me to carry it again today.

My knife:

I have to work on the edge a bit more as it was not particularly sharp from the factory. It was dull enough (a Queen trademark I'm afraid) that a few light licks on the stone are just not enough. I'm going to have to work on it in earnest. One thing though is that the steel seems to have a great heat treat; I like the way it feels on that Norton fine india that I use.

I suspected you might find it of interest.

At the moment I have a Buck 301 in pocket pending a change in the weather...(hey, is that the Sun creeping through?)

Chris, that looks pretty sweet. I think I'll surf on over to the website and look at what's available.

I had the propwood Schrade Walden 832 stockman in my pocket all last week while visiting family. Today, its kinsman the jigged delrin 834.

Pete - that Zippo is great looking - I´m curious how it looks when it´s opened. Nice knives, too :)

That's a nice trapper. I think the first ever Case knife I bought was a trapper as well. Case's trapper is very nice and was larger than the Schrade and Buck trappers I had before it. You will likely enjoy that knife and you may very well add others to your cache. Looks like amber bone and probably CV steel in that one.

That Western is a beauty. What's the closed length?
