What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I agree, Elliott, looks like a big bruiser. I went with my large Hanson modified S&M English Jack today.

I like that one, Jeff.

Speaking of big boys, I had out a couple of big guys myself the other day for sharpening and maintenance.

A 4 1/2" delrin covered Robeson "English Jack" and a 4 3/4" "Bonnie Parker" lockback with the Battle-Axe tang stamp of Hickey & Shouse. This time of year lends itself to the big boys and gals.

Elliott, I bet that Robeson EJ is a beauty-- I don't think I've ever seen a Robeson I didn't think was super.
Isn't it Charlie Noyes that has such a terrific collection of them?

This one is nothing fancy, Jeff, just a nice useful knife with good carbon steel. Not like the truly vintage Robeson's I've seen on the site I believe you are referring to.

Switched it up for the rest of the day: Sean O'Hare splice in Mike Norris Fire Clone stainless damascus and afzelia burl handle and a Canal Street Pinch in D2 and reclaimed chestnut.
