That is a good looking knife sir!

After reading another thread about barlows I was inspired to carry this today. Sorry for the bad lighting! uploadfromtaptalk1354108841776.jpg

Some beautiful knives you're all carrying, as always

Today, I've got my Otter Weber-Messer, my 1951 Belgian clasp-knife, and a Vic Classic.

The light on those November days is terrible... I didn´t get it better - GEC #66 Serpentine Jack with a Zippo lighter in background (fired)

I'm running out of adjectives to describe your knives Elliott! :)

Call 'em what you like, just spare a kind thought for me. I'm the sensitive type. :p

Thanks, Jack for always having a good word.

Andi
Your pic has a kinda rustic look to it. Great job

Thanks. I was never quite sure how I'd feel about that particular CF until I'd seen images of Jared's prototype and then seeing this knife in person.
It's a little more subdued in the real world but I just love the look and feel. Jared really impressed me with this knife and I'm sure that many more folks will feel the same way as more of his knives get into circulation.

Nice knife, Sam. I like the updated look of it. Is that a cap lifter at the end?

It's a lockback with lanyard, this pic shows it from above.

Agreed on the more modern traditional look. The knife has a lovely, balanced mechanism, great F&F and a stop pin to protect the blade. All in all happy Sam!

Mokume Gane pair today, Sean O'Hare sparrow with Mike Norris cazy lace stainless damascus blade, Mike Sakmar 3 toned mokume and turkish walnut handle with a Claude Scott sheath w/ beavertail inlay, and a Boker lockback in Rob Thomas Typhoon stainless damascus and 3 toned raindrop mokume with imbuia handles

Reading this made me smile, because I somehow got the picture in my head of a waiter in one of those fancy restaurants reading the menu with all those words a normal person wouldn't understand :) :D

Wooden Wednesday? I'll partake with some Walnut and Cocobolo.

Nun war dieser brave Lehrer, Von dem Tobak ein Verehrer, Was man ohne alle Frage, Nach des Tages Müh und Plage, Einem guten, alten Mann, Auch von Herzen gönnen kann.

Aah, Max und Moritz, you just have to love Wilhelm Busch. My parents used to read these stories to us, and when the pipe blows up was my favourite part :)
Although they aren't 'politically correct' nowadays :D

No, they are not really politically correct nowadays - but I really love the stories about the two lads ... and it´s so great to read the rhymes (thoug I fear an english translation would completelly destroy the read :p )
