What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Good luck with the house Kris, you're certainly very well-dressed (as always) in the knife department

P., I like that knife and I like the picture. I've been thinking about picking up a clip point version just for giggles. I don't see how I could like it more than one like yours (or the one I carry).

Thanks!

Your mini copperhead was the impetus for my acquiring one, with an assist from Mack (Protourist).

As you may have seen, I also have a mini copperhead with a clip blade:

It's a very fine knife, but no, I don't like it more than the wharncliffe version. The angles are ever-so-slightly different, somehow. Even though the clip blade version is more comfortable in-hand when using the pen blade, the wharncliffe is the clear winner (for me) in overall design.

That said, I prefer the clip blade mini copperhead to my Peanut [stage whisper]Don't tell Carl[/stage whisper], and it remains a fine little knife in its own right. I'm glad I have it-- especially in the Correct Color. ;)

Those Mini Copperheads look good P. I noticed you posted some of your extensive French Kate collection in the Barlow thread! :D ;)

OH HAR.

It just so happened that those were the first pictures of knives I could quickly find that had identically sized clip mains with different pulls on 'em, to demonstrate a direct (and hopefully helpful) comparison.

Should've known it wouldn't go Unnoticed, let alone Unremarked.*

(*Especially since that's what I would do, Notice and Remark, and I'm in good company here. Or you guys used to be. Or something.)

Thanks Duane, Peter, and Jack. It is very daunting, I am learning. Still looking.

Wait, new idea: how about, let's pretend I posted this picture instead:

;)

(Pistonsandgears, I hope you're enjoying having your knives as much as I'm enjoying looking at 'em together like this.)

Thanks P, yes I am really enjoying this pair, the tricky part is deciding which one to carry along, tempted to carry both but that would be crazy would it not?

(I wouldn't tell. ;))

I will be interested to see, however, if there is one that you end up gravitating to more than the other over time-- or, to look it another way, which you miss more when you're not carrying it, the secondary pen or the punch.

Off to the woods today to do some fire lightin’ and whittlin’ with my mate’s little lad

I don't carry this one very often but it found it's way into my pocket this morning. Case/Bose Dogleg Jack:
