Hope everyone has made it through another week unscathed  Carrying this re-covered Lambsfoot today (@jsdistin did a fantastic job), along with an Old Friend by Carl Schlieper :)

Another nice old Shapleigh, Gev.
In the world of guitars, and people who love ‘em, there’s the often contentious topic of relics.
There’s something really compelling about a true relic~ a tool, such as your knife, or a vintage guitar, that has battle scars. Signs of years of honest work.

Some folks want to accelerate that process, skipping the years of being used hard part, and a whole sub-industry has developed around trying to make a new guitar look as though it’s been there done that.
I doubt your DE has been massaged by a relicer.
I relic my guitars the old fashioned way~ play them, and let it happen. The 1975 Case 6275sp Moose had a head start before I got it.
Paired up with a 1971 6308 Whittler.
