What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I do like my relics ! The old barehead is a great user with great walk and talk. I am drawn to it like a moth to flame. Your two oldies are singing a song too !! Thank you my friend :D That 6308 brings vibrato to my heart
You’re welcome~ glad it still sings with authority.
Guitar lore/trivia~
Vibrato is pitch modulaton, tremolo is amplitude or volume modulation.
The bar you see on a lot of guitars, aka: whammy bar, wiggles the bridge, causing a change it pitch, so it is a vibrato. The effect found on a lot of amps uses a photovoltaic cell to change the voltage to the tubes, causing volume modulation. So that is tremolo.
Leo Fender reversed his definitions, labeling guitar whammy bars as tremolos, and amp trems as vibrato. This has caused confusion for decades.
File that away with other stuff you didn’t need to know.:D

NEW!! Another sweet deal from @TexasTomcat. Old Engineer Old Engineer , these things are sweet. First knife in Osage! Love the #29 pattern why did I pass on these in 2019!?

Vintage Officer (circa 1950's) has the tools of a 3 layer Camper. Paired with a Case Barlow with CV blades:thumbsup:

Ketchup and mustard again, in reverse. As mentioned those visible pins really set off the Camper.

Otter Messer 169 and Buck 303

I find these three-rivet Messer's very appealing. Bolster is way cool too.

Another nice old Shapleigh, Gev.
In the world of guitars, and people who love ‘em, there’s the often contentious topic of relics.
There’s something really compelling about a true relic~ a tool, such as your knife, or a vintage guitar, that has battle scars. Signs of years of honest work.

Some folks want to accelerate that process, skipping the years of being used hard part, and a whole sub-industry has developed around trying to make a new guitar look as though it’s been there done that.
I doubt your DE has been massaged by a relicer.
I relic my guitars the old fashioned way~ play them, and let it happen. The 1975 Case 6275sp Moose had a head start before I got it.
Paired up with a 1971 6308 Whittler.

I love the color you chose for your custom guitar.:cool:

Svelte workhorse. :thumbsup::cool:

As previously mentioned I bought this 56 for the bomb shield and mustard covers, but after carrying it once I found it kind of heavy in the pocket so put it away. Since December I've been cycling through everything to give them at least a day of carry. All of that to say I've found this to be a nice carry for the past week. :p

The Micarta Boker of your's is very nice. Has me thinking if I could of had the ironwood in one hand and Micarta in the other to compare the two the
Micarta version very well could have been my choice.
Buying online is not the same as handling and viewing in person.I'd love to have a brick & mortar knife store with a large inventory of knives to shop near by. But then again that would likely be bad for my wallet.:D

Thanks, really enjoying it. Buying on line is different, still bad for the wallet though because I usually end up getting too many versions of the same pattern just to make sure I get the one I really like!:)
