Memorable stag, José! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: Thanks for showing both sides; I don't recall seeing the pile side before (but I don't recall what I had for breakfast yesterday :rolleyes:).

Thank you very much, Gary. You’re right, I think this is the first time I’ve put the pile side.:):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Dean. :) And "luminous" is a perfect description of the following photo with your Buck 503! :cool::thumbsup::cool: (Does the 503 have a "regal" name like some of the Buck 500 series do: Knight, Prince, Duke, etc.?)

- GT

Thank you, Gary. The Buck 503 is called the Prince. Makes me feel important carrying it.

Should have carried this stag Hoffritz yesterday but any day is good for it. :)
That's a superb pen knife, Les; when you carry that, you're puttin' on the Ritz! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

Thanks for the additional photos of that admirable knife! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: What kind of wood is used for the handle?

...
PS, yes GT 5K Qs 5K Qs , that is a Saddlehorn made by the late great Tony Bose about a year ago.
That's really special, LT! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
I'm not sure about how much wood a beaver can remove or how many it takes. I just know that one day I hiked in that park and saw the very fresh sign of beavers! :):eek:
...
Well, you know more than I do about beavers, Dean. ;) I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild, nor have I even seen any signs that would suggest their presence.
Your slip and TC are impeccable! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

What's another day with this one? :)

I can't answer your question, Mike, but a day WITHOUT it must be like a day without sunshine! ;) (Referencing a VERY old TV ad for the Florida Citrus Commission.)

5K Qs 5K Qs thanks, I agree that the medium stockman is a classic. As usual, you have some fine knives today.
I'm going light with just my peanut today.

Thanks for your encouragement. :) "just" your peanut is a fantastic carry! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

This little ol thing
:D:thumbsup::D

Your horn lambsfoot is a treasure! :thumbsup::thumbsup: So's the watch!
...
Very tasty threesome you have today; I really like the image of your Guardian lamb beauty, too!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
That's a great pic of your Lam Jack, and a very nice watch too :) :thumbsup:
...
Thanks for the lambsfoot and pocket watch compliments. :)

Slipped this old friend into my pocket today. :)
Peerless Pocket-Eze, JJ! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thank you, Gary. That Schrade Whittler was a thoughtful gift from Ron @Half/Stop when we met for breakfast in Tennessee on Nov 29th just days before we lost him:(
Special knife, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks GT, so far I'm really liking the half hawk. Only thing I didn't like was I couldn't find a smooth tobacco bone with the acorn shield lol. Well I also wanted to change the jigging it had really uniform jigging and I changed that with my trusty dremel ;).
I guess in a way the "Coal Miner" edition is a reminder of home,I originate from the coal fields of Virginia. My grandfather and my mom's brothers all were miners, though I've not worked in the mines I did work in the industry for awhile :thumbsup:
Thanks for your opinions, David. :) Very cool that the Coal Miner version of the Halfhawk reminds you of "family ties"! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

She promised that on my deathbed I'll receive total consciousness!
:D:D
After seeing that clip again for the first time in ages, I'm gonna have trouble not thinking "Total Consciousness" every time someone posts a TC Barlow here from now on. :rolleyes:

Thanks Gary!!! Found a couple large pelican cases filled with various motion picture camera "leftovers." :eek:o_O:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Sounds interesting, JJ, but way above my mechanical/technical pay grade! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It was a Christmas present Gary :) A bit of a 'coffee table book', but there are some interesting projects :thumbsup:
...
Thank you GT :) It IS the Abbeydale Jack, thank you for noticing my friend :) :thumbsup:

The sandwich was very tasty, but so filling I had to respectfully decline the offer of chilli from my neighbour several hours later :eek:

Wishing everyone a safe and happy week :thumbsup: I'm starting mine off with my Hartshead Barlow and a Metal Monday Penknife by Needham Brothers :thumbsup:

Jack, you'll have to share any projects you do from the book! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for the Abbeydale confirmation; I wasn't sure I could accurately recognize it in a tree. :rolleyes:
It's hard for me to imagine a situation in which I would refuse the offer of chili! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:
Great Monday choices! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

5K Qs 5K Qs that picture captured the sunrise. I had never seen one quite like that. Here is today’s sunrise.
ZtJZ84k.jpg
Thanks for the info; those are a couple of impressive sunrise pics! And that Challenge Scout is also an eye-opener to start the day! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

For Monday, my Usual Lamb and a Micarta TC Barlow...
Good to see you're going completely straight on Monday, John (blade-wise)! :cool::cool:;)

Good morning. A good knife or two makes everything a little better, right?
You won't get much argument around here I'll bet, Jeff. :D And those are definitely TWO good knives you posted! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
