That's VERY different Gary  Very attractive though
Thanks, Jack! Bud Nealy is pretty highly regarded. He developed a pretty neat carry system (MCS) that is better discussed elsewhere. Here's his description of this knife.

"The Aikuchi is the first knife I designed specially for the system. It began what has become tradition with my designs – looking back at ancient knives and adapting them to modern day usage. Knives of this design were used for armor piercing (leather armor) in 15th century Japan. The spine of the knife which remains constant all the way to the katana-style point, offers maximum strength and piercing ability. It also has a fairly substantial cutting surface."

I'll be surprised if I get attacked by anyone wearing leather armor, but it is a cool knife to carry!

Yes indeed Gary, before the internet existed, I used to spend a lot of time drooling over Knives annuals :D Thanks for the info, do you carry it like that? Better to be safe, from leather armour wearing crazies, than sorry my friend ;)

Many thanks JJ, it's a special knife I treasure :) Your hefty Trapper looks fantastic, I love the bone  :)
Thank you very much Jack!!! Your Union Cut Co is certainly a marvel! :)
Hope everyone is keeping well :) I'm carrying my @jsdistin - recovered, @Reaper AL - gifted cinnamon giraffe bone Lambsfoot, together with a toothsome Wheatley Brothers Jack ;)

Lots of options for carrying the Aikuchi with his system. I generally use a IWB sheath, that works on the belt also, that's made of more modern materials.

I do tend to steer clear of crazies in leather armour! :D
