Good to see you enjoying your avatar!
Your canoe is a real ice-breaker, Gev!
Being old and a Purdue grad, I'll vote for Drew Brees, who led Purdue to football glory 20+ years ago and who'd be an inspiration for all old guys if he can win a championship after breaking 11 ribs and puncturing a lung! I wonder if he carries a traditional pocket knife? I think he's originally from Texas. With my Hawks out of it now, I'll be rooting for Tom and Drew.
Hoping one of those two guys take it all the way to the championship.
Radiant rosewood lambsfoot, Bill!
Jack, I'm so naive I actually looked up "Round Tuit"!Maybe I'll finally make myself a Round Tuit my friendWell done
Yeah, I kicked myself after for not accepting the offer and saving it for today!

Sorry to read about the kidney stone, Steve, but I'm glad you could make it a DIY project!Taking it easy today as I ended up in the ER last night with a kidney stone, thankfully it passed this morning and I'm doing much better.
Mustang and a Churchill.

WSchrade Walden today....

Couple of very likable Old Timer lockbacks!Day off with a couple of Schrades.

Definitely a desirable duo, JJ!Thought I'd follow the lead of @Jack Black with an older Imperial metal US Army utility knife and an even older Pal.
![]()
José & John, your duos looks like they can do it all!
I like seeing that knife again, Will; I find the stag handle very satisfying!Earlier today I posted my carry a Lloyd 'English Jack' but failed to notice the picture had lopped the tip off, apologiesFact is, I've forgotten how to delete an image and replace it
does using Safari /Mac make any difference ? Anyway, here's the 'tipped' version...fine ground, very sharp and really great carbon (forget the type but it's same as ball bearings??) Near sunk joint too, very easy on the pocket.

Notable pair of equal-enders, Michael!
Always impressed with your stag pruner, Harry, but it's great to see that Austrian stag again!
Terrific trio, Greg, and I sure can't fault your argument!I went a bit overboard today, carried three knives instead of my usual two. In my defense though I was wearing carpenter pants and well you know,
all those extra utility/tool pockets are there for a reason.
A.G. Russell sowbelly with brown Micarta handles plus a Boker club knife & GEC calf roper, both with ironwood covers.

Congrats on the new lock back and pen!Arrived 16:55. (Mtn time.) Received 17:45. (Mtn. Time) (Staffette hadda serve supper and feed one.)
BTI Old Timer 7OT.
Sharper out of the box than my circa 1995 Schrade + 6OT and 7OT. Quality is the same for all intents and purposes.
Shown paired with BTI 858OT that I've had going on a year now, and new "my bestest ballpoint" Raw Brass Fisher Space Pen, that also arrived today. I hope it patinas at least as fast as my 110's old 6OT/7OT, and military web belt brass belt buckles did.
The 7OT is on my belt, 858OT and Space Pen are in the appropriate pockets.

Good choices, Jack, even if one is random!...
Hope everyone's week got off to a good startI'm carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and a Random Tuesday Electrician's Knife by Union Cut Co.
...
I like this re-run, Jeff!
I like the coloration of that tortoise Marbles copperhead!Tortoise for Tuesday.Marbles c.2002 liner lock copperhead. Paired with one of my many favorites, Charlies HJ-10 in ebony. This is my only knife that is a Charlie SFO and it sees a good deal of pocket time and use. Smooth as silk opening and closing with no half stops. I'll carry my knives that have half stops but much prefer one without for a user. Thats just my preference, your milage may vary.

Thank you!
Exciting day for us; we’re going inland to visit my folks and take a BBQ lunch - haven’t seen them since before Christmas (they have been quarantined while my brother worked through COVID19 - he’s over it now). Late afternoon we’ll leave my folks for a drive about 30 miles east to welcome my daughter and son-in-law to their new home on the Pamlico River (they will be an hour and a half north of us, much closer than the 6 hours plus it takes now to visit them). They are driving a U-Haul box truck from the mountains today carrying all of their furniture and possessions. OH
Ps going to carry the stag Case Mini-Copperlock my Dad gave me last summer.

Notable pair of equal-enders, Michael! That red bone Case canoe is especially appealing.
